I have to say I am thoroughly disappointed. I stayed a few times and absolutely loved being at this hotel even though every time I stayed there were problems I was looking at having our Wedding at this hotel my fiance and I had fallen in love with this idea and thoroughly disappointed. Not only was I still very polite when things went wrong every time, but I also myself went and asked For myself to be contacted and not me to contact the hotel when leaving as the last time we stayed, we all stayed as a family for my parents anniversary once again disappointed I’m assuming the polite thing to do is to contact me I guess not.so I wasn’t contacted left it more than a couple of days contacted the hotel eventually I did receive a call back from a manager saying I’m sorry I didn’t contact you. I’ve had family problems. I do understand and completely sympathise but I am a customer not your friend so personally, I think that was inappropriate to make me feel bad about your life when my family and I work extremely hard and spent a lot of money time and time again coming here. We also had all had family upset and really needed this time away. We where also going to spend an extreme amount of money on a wedding here which is pointless as these things couldn’t be ironed out so what would happen in Wedding? Well my wedding day won’t be ruined. We received money off our main meal we had the best room the honeymoon suite Which we absolutely loved the room. The manager said he is not allowed to deal with anything more than this and that somebody higher up would call me seeing as I was explaining that why would I want to book a wedding at a place where things aren’t fixed properly and a simple apology, that was all I was asking for, several months later I still have not received a call so therefore I am Leaving a review to say unfortunately our wedding will not be here and we will not be returning it pains me to write this as this has upset my partner and I a lot. but it’s the truth. Thank you for ruining the place where we wanted to have our wedding and us also having to now rethink and find somewhere . I would like to take the time to say Thank you to the staff that where on the 2 days and 2 evenings we had booked you where amazing and helpful with what you were allowed to do which isn’t a lot but you are definitely not paid enough as the only reason the hotel is good in that aspect is because of you running it. It’s very unfortunate that the managers sit around not being able to make a phone calls receive the money and people that work extremely hard don’t. So once again thank you for that. My family and I really appreciate it. And for your kindness and your lovely personalities you work extremely hard. It was not gone unnoticed. I now leave this review with a visual migraine.
