The room was decent, and the price was quite good for staying in Shangri-La. The owner was really nice, and there's a restaurant right upstairs, which was super convenient. It's also very handy to stay in Shangri-La if you're heading to Ice Lake and Niseng.

Great spot! Located just on the side of Yubeng that's on the way to the glacier lake trail. Views from rooms were amazing. There's also multiple laundry machines for people traveling with limited amounts of hiking clothes. There were always several staff members onsite to assist with whatever you may need. Food from the hotel's restaurant was diverse, affordable and tasty.

The room was much older than it looked in the photos. The worst part was the window, which didn't seal properly and let in a lot of cold air. At an altitude of 3300 meters, combined with the low nighttime temperatures, I got altitude sickness after just an hour of sleep and had a terrible headache! The bathroom was also in very poor condition. They provided toiletries, but I wouldn't dare use the communal cups.

Not that good, quite dirty, smoking inside is allowed. There is a restaurant downstairs, you can buy Baozi and sandwiches for the hikes.

For the cheapest place in the village it was very good. They make nice food that you can enjoy next to the fire place. It did get pretty cold in the whole building, so maybe not the place for luxury.
