Courtyard Hershey Chocolate Avenue

The bathroom was very dirty. I don't think the room was even cleaned between guests, except in the most cursory way. There was hair everywhere, all over the shower floor. I skipped taking a shower because I wasn't willing to get in there barefoot. There was also dirt and hair visibly built up in the corners of the bathroom. The rest of the room looked ok, but the coffee pods and things that go with the coffee maker were missing. Reason number 2 for the low review is that when I went downstairs in the morning to get coffee - after discovering it hadn't been refilled in the room - I found there was only a coffee making machine that you had to use a credit card to access. I hadn't brought my card downstairs with me, not realizing I would need it. I also paid twice as much for this hotel as better ones nearby (Fairfield and Best Western). Moreover, breakfast is pay-only, and it's a 15 minute wait to get anything. The breakfast food was ok, but not worth the hassle or the price. I do not recommend this hotel. I would not stay there again.

This a very nice courtyard in an excellent location. The rooms and common space are nice. The gym is decent too. Place felt clean.

I dont have much good to say at all about this hotel experience. I was scheduled to stay there last thursday to go see a concert in Hershey. Unfortunately the concert was cancelled on wednesday afternoon. I cancelled the hotel online however they still charged me the full room rate and would not allow me to move my reservation to the rescheduled august concert date. The front desk was very difficult to work with and unwilling to bump up to the manager. Would not recommend staying here or giving this hotel any sort of business given the circumstances

As a loyal Marriott member I am highly disappointed in this property. I rarely ever feel compelled to leave a bad review but this property was a disappointment to say the least. For starters, it was filthy. Dirty bed linens with yellow stains all over them, dirty carpet and stained furniture with obvious food spills all over them. To make matters worse there was no bathtub drain plug so I wasn’t able to give my young kids a bath and had to shove a washcloth in the drain to keep water in it. I asked the front desk for one and they looked at me as if I had 3 heads and said there was nothing they could do. Fast forward to the morning and the housekeeping staff was outside of our room banging doors and carts around all morning while talking loudly on walky talkies for hours. I mentioned this to the front desk and again, nothing was done. I will be asking for a credit back for the points i used for this stay. Filthy property, stay literally anywhere else!

We had a perfect bit visit from start to finish with a friend who required an accessibility room and bathroom.

If it weren't for the very nice people at the desk, this hotel would have gotten 1 star. For a "Marriot", the hotel room is pure filth. The pictures are worth a thousand words. Dirt, dust & furry mold in the air vents. The same vents that push AC into the room. The tub leaked so when we ran a tubby for my child, the bathroom floor was soaked with what seemed like 2ft of water. Let the front desk know & nothing was done except to put towels down. Not to mention MOLD all over the tub. Every where we looked in the room was filth, right down to the furry layer on TV, only speaker phone worked, not the receiver. I'd say don't stay here but when you need a place & everything else is booked, ya gotta do what you gotta do.

Very limited selection on breakfast items. Room was mostly clean except for under the bathroom sink which had some wrappers of some kind. Great location. Staff was pleasant.

The property is getting renovated. The shower has no door, which is odd. Not sure if it’s because they’re still renovating or if it’s intentional. It steamed up the entire bathroom and hallway because there’s also no vent fan. The sheets were old and no elastic and kept coming off the bed. No one wants to touch a gross mattress. Staff was just ok, not really friendly.

The room was not clean, the hallway was dirty. It really needs spruced up, in general. The towels were subpar. I wish I would have read reviews before booking. I was disappointed there was no free breakfast, or even a continental breakfast, but food to pay for. I went to the lobby for coffee, and it cost me over $5 for a cup of black coffee. The beds were comfortable and it was a decent location
