Es war alles super. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und das Personal einfach super nett. Professionell geführtes Hotel. Das essen im eigenen Restaurant ist hervorragend. Danke an das komplette Team. Tutto è stato fantastico. I proprietari sono davvero gentili e disponibili. E il personale è molto gentile. Hotel gestito in modo professionale. Il cibo nel ristorante è eccellente. Grazie a tutto il team Grazie Clara ti tutto e stato veramente bellisimmo da voi. Seite molto in gamba. Un saluto dalla Germania

Service personnel – friendly and caring, with that personal touch that you won’t get in most of the big hotels. You couldn’t get the better value for the very decent at the Como lake price! Stayed here on a recent motorcycle trip. As we were travelling on motorbikes we make a point of contacting the hotels in advance to check that the restaurant on site will be open. We had a confirmation email advising that the restaurant would be open. On check in we were advised that the bar and restaurant was closed, however there is a bar opposite and a good restaurant a short walk down the road. The hotel is easy to find on a main road and we were able to park our motorcycles in the underground garage. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The advice about the restaurant down the road was very good and the we had great meal there. However on our return to the hotel we were asked to pay our bill as the manager/owner wanted a lay in the next morning. This meant we had to drag our fellow travellers out of bed to pay as they had returned to the hotel ahead of us. The next morning, all of the other guests were settling their bills as they checked out.

Nice and modern hotel in good location with great views over the Lago di Lugano. The staff was professional, experienced and super friendly. Breakfast was always good with plenty of choice. We'll definitely stay again at Grand Hotel Campione!

We have been in many hotels in different countries, but this one is really special, hotel is beautiful, very nice location, just 9 minutes you are in city center by train. All is good, but personal, Francesco at resection, makes experience to stay here really amazing. Any question you might have, he has an answer, and best is that Francesco does it with pleasure, he helps really with heart, we have never seen such a perfect help in any other hotel. He’s really special, thanks a lot to Francesco for such a nice help every day we stay here. We would recommend this hotel 1000%!! Nino and Nodar

I was on a Northern Italy Lake Tour with my mom and best friend with 25 other people. This hotel was the second stop of our trip. The travel company selected the hotels, so we were at the mercy of where they put us. If you like rock hard beds, wafer thin pillows, scratchy rough sheets, semi clean rooms, abrasive and rude staff, then this is a place for you! The two stars are for excellent wifi connection and speed and friendly housekeeping staff. This is clearly a very busy hotel. Every time we went through the lobby there were groups checking in. The sign said the air conditioning in the hotel would be on until 10/22, and we checked out before the 22nd and it was never on. Rooms were stuffy and hot. We had to ask about opening the window, which we had to sign a waiver (understandable - there are no screens). Each bed had one very thin pillow. When we asked for 3 more (one for each in the room) the look of dismay and surprise from the person at the front desk was almost comical. The fridge in the room was stocked daily, but never was cold enough to even chill the bottles. We had the same waiter two nights and he was miserable, unfriendly, inattentive and just down right rude. I tried to be friendly to see if it would help - and it didn’t. When asking for directions at the front desk the person seemed annoyed that we asked, was very curt and snotty. Even when looking at other staff they all looked miserable - no one smiled. At least the housekeeping ladies were pleasant and greeted you with good morning and a smile. Not an overly welcoming experience and I couldn’t wait to check out and continue on our trip. If I was to come back, I certainly would not book to stay here.
