The Yucca Hotel

No Wi-Fi connection in room. 3 night stay, didn’t get much sleep. Poor installation, could hear everything in adjacent rooms. Packed up in the middle of the 3rd night and drove home.

This hotel is CLOSED and you cannot get ahold of anyone. They are still accepting payments for gift cards despite being closed. This is a scam. I was gifted two nights and attempted to reach them via multiple phone numbers, email and even through here with a review. No responses. Had to work with credit card to get a refund. Do not attempt to book or make any payments to this company. It is a scam!

More like YUCK Hotel. Many of the features described were not represented. We had a hard time sleeping with the people living across the street blasting music, no wifi, and pretty much no amenities (hair dryer, cups, soap) or communication. We still have not heard back from the Apek Rentals regarding wifi or refund. We agree with the other reviews and guests staying when we did. The whole experience was creepy and weird.

The Yucca Hotel was advertised as a bed and breakfast, with a glowing review in Oct 2023 referencing this. Unfortunately this was far from the truth regarding the hotel now. The hotel is oddly situated in a neighborhood. There were no cars present in the parking spots for the hotel upon our arrival; it felt like a ghost town. From the information we received, we expected to be able to check-in “in-person,” but there was no personnel onsite to do this. The property was not welcoming, with pool umbrellas on the floor, miscellaneous trash around and generally needing upkeep. Additionally, the property required you to pay extra for “add-ons” such as pool/jacuzzi heating which was not referenced at all upon booking. We also met other dismayed guests who traveled there under the impression they would enjoy a relaxing vacation at this property based in the false description. The description of the type of accomodation/rental this property is NEEDS to be updated to more accurately account for what the Yucca hotel is ran as now. It may have once been a lovely B&B with attentive staff and relaxing accommodations BUT it was not at all that when we arrived. Needless to say, we cancelled our booking. ********** was very helpful in this process and the company who owns the property, Apekrentals.com, accepted our cancellation/refund in a timely manner.

Can someone please reach out to me ? I received a gift card for this place and it seems like it is closed but the website continues to sell gift cards. I'm not able to access anyone by phone or email. This feels like a scam. If you are a manager here, please inform how to get in touch with someone to sort this out. Otherwise this will have to be reported.

Tony and Gabby were the most generous hosts, the property was a little oasis, and the breakfasts were incredible- a delightful way to start each morning. Highly recommend!

Where to even begin? This place is an oasis tucked perfectly between Joshua Tree and Palm Springs. The minute you step inside the front gate it feels like you’ve come home. Gaby and Tony are the epitome of what any great host should be. They are responsive, attentive and really sweet. To top it off their dog Sushi is the sweetest love bug. The room was spacious, well organized and clean. The pool and jacuzzi are heated which allows for night swims too. The breakfast was phenomenal and each morning we got something different but equally as delicious. We were able to book a massage in our room which made the weekend extra special. To top it off they made my wife’s birthday an incredible experience. Only regret is not utilizing the fitness room which had a peloton in addition to other equipment. Hard to capture the vibe and relaxation this place provides. We will definitely be coming back here! Do yourself a favor and book a weekend at this desert oasis.

Very comfortable beds! Amazing plant based breakfast meals. Gorgeous and relaxing views. Fresh clean air and lots of space to walk around, do yoga, sunbathe, heal in the jacuzzi and read a good book next to the pool. The hospitality and professionalism is top tier. The owners truly embody the energy of kindness. The thing that stood out most to me is the authenticity! I will most definitely be visiting again and bringing more friends next time. Our stay was both memorable and rejuvenating. As I ventured out for a hike on Mount San Jacinto, my wife enjoyed a peaceful picnic under their large olive tree. The Yucca is more than a bed and breakfast; it's a sanctuary where you can recharge your mind, body, and soul. So whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway, an eco-conscious retreat, or a combo of the two, The Yucca is a jewel in the desert that promises an unforgettable stay.
