The parking lot is free, just use your room card to enter. The Thai food in the hotel is very delicious. I ate there two nights in a row. You need to make a reservation otherwise you will have to wait for a table. There is a swimming pool and a peacock wandering around in the yard.

Given the declaration of emergency, youth curfew, and dozens of people recently injured in civil unrest in Alice Springs, we requested some grace on the cancelation fees for this hotel. We could not reschedule because we're traveling from the US and unlikely to have the opportunity to be in Australia again for at least a couple years. The hotel manger not only refused to reduce the cancelation fees at all (over 2500 AUD total), but lied to me about a system limitation (only an email to the booking agent was required), lectured me about how "safe" Alice Springs is because the government has "taken care of it", and then hung up on me when I asked for his name. He was the only really rude and unprofessional person we dealt with in country, and interacting with him was the worst experience of our entire 5-week bucket list trip to Australia.
