Emerald Towers by Panhandle Getaways

FILTHY, musty smelling, out dated and pictures were lies! Had lawn furniture in the living room instead of the beautiful dinning set. Use mirrors on the walls to make it look bigger! Wires hanging around tvs and from ceiling and around doors. The should be sued over false advertisement and claiming it is a luxury condo and be allowed to charge the price they do! WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

They got me for $2000. Trying to take a dying friend to the beach as her last wish but she could not make the trip. Had a bad turn. At first I canceled thinking that's what I should do. Best Beach Getaways did not work with me in any way. Canceled but would not change it back less than 24 hours later. All I wanted was what I paid for or a refund. Companies who act like "there's nothing they can do" because it's our policy are ridiculous. NO customer service. Easy to see why they got an F on BBB. Check it out.

I’m so iffy about doing reviews especially with current times. I’ve stayed in some dumps in my day but I definitely feel like for the price we paid this was just not up to par. Several things were broken/unusable in our condo. The floors had not been cleaned well, my daughters feet were black within an hour of walking barefoot inside it. There was dust on the furniture, shower was not clean, half the outlets didn’t work, the pull out sofa was missing springs making it unusable. Dress in one of the bedrooms had clothes in it and the other drawers were broke. Staff was super nice so I hate that the room was so crappy. I didn’t get pictures of all the issues but attached are some.

Emerald Towers is not a good choice considering the cost. While still dark in the morning, chairs and umbrellas are set up at the waters edge, all the way across the property and you cannot put one single chair at the waters edge if in front of those chairs. The man the deals with these chairs told us to move to the next property. Once we moved across the line there was no one around us. We put up a small umbrella and the property next door told us to take it down. This is October and half the chairs were empty. We were told the owners association wants it this way. The owners are only able to afford their condos because of the renters. I usually listen to reviews but we had to book last minute, so sadly, we forged ahead. If you stay here, be prepared to be relegated to a spot far from the water and you cannot put up and umbrella. You must pay for your shade, and again…far from water. We have ppl in our party with health issues and must have some shade and had we known about these rules we may have just decided to stay home. $1400 for 3 nights and shade will cost you even more. You can do better. (Side note: the condo where we stayed, although old, had updated decor and amenities and was overall clean, room 605)
