A wonderfull experience had! Elegant home, decorated and furnished with antiques throughout. Rooms warm and inviting, again beautifully furnished with antiques. A very comfortable bed, slept soundly. A large relaxing verandah offering a quiet place to sit, have a drink and to enjoy the view all day long! Great location, easy short walk to town centre. Delicious breakfast included. Highly recommended!!

Highlight of our visit to Devonport. Beautifully restored and furnished Victorian era building, with hospitable and well-organised owners. Evening drinks on the upstairs verandah was outstanding, Port and sherry in the salon very relaxing, poached eggs breakfast very civilised and a great start to the day along with sight-seeing advice from Paul. Happily appreciated.

We loved the four poster bed and bunk bed for our daughter. It was like stepping back in time with all the mod cons. The breakfast was magnificent. The owners are fabulous.

This is a beautiful large vintage house and can be a little confusing. The room was comfortable and large with furniture to go with the period of the house. The cooked to order breakfast was excellent.
