The Riverstone Agro Farm

On Friday, 15 th March, 2024 visited Riverstone Agro farm situated at Maldunge near Panvel, Maharashtra ***** wth my friends and their families. All of us were senior citizens, well travelled all over the world. And what an amazing experience that was! The prestine agro farm is immaculately planned and maintained by its owner, his mother and their team. The facilities there are no less than any three star hotel in Europe. Being a foodie I would emphasize the delightful food they served us. For vegetarians, lettuce, water cress, spinach and other herbs are home grown and a generous helping of those is served on the table directly from the farm. The organic vegetables too are plucked in your presence and are prepared as per your taste. The fresh fruits served for breakfast are also grown on the farm itself And for non-vegetarians it's a special culinary experience! The Agro farm has its own *** made lake spread over one acre where fishes like tilapia, rohu and katla are cultivated. For fish lovers the fishes are caught with a net in their presence, prepared & served !! The recipes are extremely tasty, enhanced by the freshness of fish. Those who prefer chicken and mutton too the meat is freshly procured from nearby vendors. Absolutely desi and fresh ! And one can not forget the amazing Son Champa plantation on the property ***** with ***y other plants and trees from all over the world painstakingly cultivated! The very well appointed specious rooms, courteous and affectionate service, the prestine surroundings and the delicious food made our stay a delightful experience which got etched in our memories! Riverstone Agro Farm is highly recommended by us for families, couples and young groups too for a relaxing and refreshing vacation at a conveniently located place near Mumbai. Unlike other far away holiday destinations, locations, you don't have to waste half a day or more to reach Riverstone Agro Farm which is about 60 to 70 k.m. away from Mumbai!!

I visited Riverstone agro farm for my anniversary celebrations on 23rd Jan and stayed there till 24th . I thank myself for the excellent decision I took as it fulfilled all my requirements of my celebrations. First of all, remember you are visiting an extremely professionally managed resort, and at the same time it gives an amazing informal feel. The rooms, the eat out are all just besides the river and a pond. They are ergonomically designed and very comfortable. A special care is taken to keep the place neat, tidy, clean and hygienic. They serve you home cooked food. The kitchen is near by and you can ask for the delicacies and they will provide the same to you with additional spread of fruits and vegetables that grow at the agro farm. The best part is the stroll around the farm. They have a in premise lake from where you can see the beautiful hills. There are lot of flower plants. In the evening the whole place lights up and it is a scene worth seeing. They also arranged for Bon fire and sky Lanterns for us. There are a lot of dogs, cats and birds in the premises and for the animal lovers this is heaven. Apart from fruits and vegetables, the Farm has flower plantation of Son Chapha etcs and you can go to the flower plants in the morning ***** with the staff and pluck flowers. The owner Mr Rakesh takes deep interest in every visitor and personally explains his Agro experiments. There are some nice build outs where you can party with your friends or just sit for calm conversations. The owner’s mother lives on the Pharm and is an extremely sweet and loving lady.

Every thing you read about the place is infact understated ! Words cannot do justice you the beauty , serenity and quietude of this little gem . The mountains in their colossal glory , the pristine and immaculately green expanse , the animals and fowl coop , the fantastic farm tour , the farm to plate experience and well done up rooms with courteous and helpful staff , everything adds to one’s experience . Mr . Rakesh , the *** behind this beauty , is unhurried and takes your through the farm , enriching your knowledge . This is a slice of paradise for nature lovers !

A refreshingly different resort that connected is with nature. Verdant, breath-taking, serene place. The stay was not only comfortable but also unique in the way it connected us with our roots. The rooms offered regional seasonal fruits like amla, star fruit for guests to enjoy! Warm place instilling a zen like feeling!! A must visit for anyone who is looking for a connection with Nature.

The perfect weekend getaway destination right in the beautiful and isolated landscape of Panvel, The Riverstone Agro Farm is well suited to take care of your needs to get that perfect outhouse experience. You can witness the most wonderful sunset views from the Machhan (elevated platform) while the wonderful staff prepares some amazing food (Maharashtran cuisine can be requested too). We spent a night at The Riverstone Agro Farm and quite honestly fell in love with it. Especially with the extensive display of flowers/greenery all around and the animals roaming around (dogs, hens, ducks, cats etc.)

Situated conveniently about 75 km from Mumbai, at the foothills of Matheran. A beautiful farmhouse with lush green plantations of Sonchafa. It has its own mini lake and riverside. Ideal for a 2 day retreat. Food and service is excellent. Wow experience!!

It was a great experience to visit this Riverstone agro farm situated by the side of sahyadri hill range, location of this property is at right place...away from daily routine. The place does not have any fancy decorative, but the natural greenery with variety of trees and flowers. They do the cultivation of sonachafa flowers and also have some trees of ***goes, juicy water apple, star fruit and ***y more. The owner and caretakers were very helpful and humble. They cooked very tasty home made food from there farm grown vegetables. The design of rooms is also nicely furnished and spacious. Just by seating in rooms also you can enjoy beautiful hills and nature, there is small fish pond containing number of fishes and also they have used unique technique to filter this fish water regularly. There are ***y spots in this property for your shot. Also beautiful built machan were you can seat and see the amazing overall view of nature and also sunset. They have build one big *** made pond which is very peaceful to seat by its side and enjoy your evening. At night you can do star gazing and fly the lantern which feels so amazing. This is a perfect place for your calm and peaceful vacations. Come with your family or friends to enjoy in this nature.
