Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort

We requested them to provide anniversary cake through trip.com request options. But they didn't provide us. Otherthan this everything is good.

Price too high for this hotel, small room, food were cold and there was construction outside the balcony!

The room and everything was good but the staff were a bit rude and when we got a terrible view so we changed rooms. The Valley view should not be present as the staff themself say view is not good and better to upgrade. Also bathroom amenities are not good. The toilet had a leakage and had to be changed in the night. No staff is present normally at the Gym/Steam/Sauna from 5 PM to 9 AM, which is not good. The fire alarm is fitted right outside the Steam room and when the steam room is opened, the fire alarm goes off. Surprisingly no staff came even after fire alarm went off for more than 10 minutes. Not expected with Dusit Thani!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Just loved the ambiance and natural surroundings. The food is just amazing. A must go place near Kathmandu. The majestic view from the room is truly fantastic. Thank u to all the lovely staffs. .............

We went as a couple to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was comfortable, the pool was nice, steam, sauna and gym were well managed. A special compliments to the efforts of manager/yoga teacher Roshan at the Devarana Wellness. We had a special dietary restriction which was observed very well. On areas that could be improved: The bathroom fixtures looked nice but do not function very well. The spa is rather expensive. Most importantly the room rates we paid for the local package was one and half times more than for close to a similar package had we booked through an internet provider.

Top notch service and the food from their restaurant "thaan" is just delicious 👌 We tried their himalayan thali, Aglio olio and pork chop sandwich. Their cocktail menu is also very interesting. The best part is also the complimentary foot massage you receive at their devarana wellness.
