Vassilis Balaskas was born on the island and knows it inside out. He shows you the hiking trails or takes you by boat to unusual beaches. The hotel service is excellent. Evgenia Balaskas goes out of her way for our comfort!

We had a short stay planned in this hotel. We arrived in the evening after a Saria trip. There was ample parking in front of the hotel. The man of the house, Vasilis, spoke to us and said his wife was on her way to do check-in. Shortly after he left, and by chance, we were met by Vasilis’ son, whom kept us company until his mother arrived to check us in. Check-in was swift and easy. I forgot to ask the lady her name, but she was nice and in charge of the hotel. The room and bathroom are pleasant, and clean, airco worked well, we stayed for one night only, if we had more time we would have extended our stay. The breakfast was great, on the front porch of the hotel consisting of bread, eggs, fruit, yoghurt, tea/coffee, juice, cheese and jams. Check-out was as easy as check-in, handed in the jeu and we were on our way. Thanks to the Lady of the House. I recommend this hotel fully!

Very good stay in a small, friendly hotel, very well run. The welcome, the cleanliness, the calm are there. The breakfast is very satisfying, served on the terrace or in the dining room. Quiet parking in front of the entrance. Opportunities for sea trips.

Vasilis is an amazing host and the room is very comfortable with a lovely breakfast room and a nice coffee. The BEST opportunity you will have to visit Saria Island with a guided tour on his boat. On an 8 hour tour you will have the opportunity to visit the ancient city of Nisyros and 4th century pirate ruins. Vasilis grills a lovely lunch which you can enjoy on a private beach and have a snorkel if you like! Beware the friendly goats and donkeys that may wander down from the hills, they are adorable!! Vasilis will treat you to a cave swim and historical songs and stories that are equally fascinating and heartfelt. An opportunity not to be missed in Diafani

If you are staying in Diafani I absolutely recommend this hotel! It's simple but the people who run it are helpful and kind! Our holiday was perfect thanks to them! The breakfast is good and plentiful and the cleanliness of the rooms is also excellent. You are close to the sea and the center!

After 6 nights spent in the hotel suddenly for a simple request to use the air conditioning on the last night, the lady invented excuses (they had not had the engine cleaned, the technician had told her that it could not be used). After my and from my partner the lady takes care to make us aware of closing the windows and turning off the air when we were out .... so entering in the evening the room was an oven Today we left and none of the owners introduced themselves ... not even for a greeting..so well, next year we'll look elsewhere. He didn't even accept payment like the debit card..(and they say some Italians....)

Welcoming and clean establishment. I just spent 5 days there and I will happily return to this hotel. The room has a balcony and a very practical kitchen area. Vassili offers boat trips to magnificent corners of this island perfect for resting, swimming and discovering the fabulous village of Olympos. Diafani is an adorable little port that lives to the rhythm of its inhabitants. To recommend
