I stayed here as a stopover while on a coast-to-coast trip with a dog . . . late check-in, early checkout. The hotel was perfect in the context of a roadside stay. The property was modern, clean, and inviting. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms and bedding and linens were clean and comfortable. The room was also quite spacious with a large work area. The hotel does not have an on-site restaurant or breakfast area, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby, including almost all major fast food chains and some casual dining; you might be surprised how this small, remote town on the North Dakota prairie has so much to offer. The room has a full refrigerator/ freezer, microwave, and stovetop so those so inclined could cook a meal in the room. Pet-friendliness was a key criterion in hotel selection all along my coast-to-coast route. "Pet fees" are, sadly, becoming the norm, but I appreciate that this property has kept the pet fee at $25 while competitors are charging an outrageous $50 or even $75. There are plenty of grassy areas adjacent to the parking lot where doggies can "do their business". The only downside to this hotel was that the activation of the shower was highly unusual; it involved twisting the faucet. I've never seen such a thing. I almost did not figure it out.
