Home2 Suites by Hilton Dickson City Scranton

Traveling through with a family of 5 (3 teens). This was perfect. Our suite had 2queens and a pull-out couch. The room was very spacious, lots of shelf/counter space. Kitchenette was cute and had everything! Breakfast was great - waffles, eggs, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, bagels, juices. All in all this is a fantastic value. Staff was all very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We were happily surprised by the very good conditions: clean, quiet, very good service by professional staff. The kitchenette makes it easy to dine in (we were there for a ski event).

A nice one night stay, room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Utilized the lobby to talk to old business associates and friends for an enjoyable evening.

Outstanding hotel. Everything was mint condition. Staff was outstanding. Nicest most complete free breakfast of any hotel that I have ever stayed at. Very clean place. Cannot recommend this place enough! Will stay here again when going through Scranton

We were shocked that a hotel with a 9.6 rating was this poor. Our room was very noisy: voices from guests in neighboring rooms and from the elevator continued well into the night, making a good night’s sleep difficult. The room smelled awful, so the front desk moved us to another room, which smelled not as bad (but not good). An average hotel that is simply not being well maintained.

My room was clean and had real crockery and utensils . The bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was basic but everything was fresh and cooked well.

Busy area, but very good experience

The property was great as usual. Upon arrival, there were some guests lingering and smoking in the parking lot. We did not feel safe entering the building as they reeked of "skunk" and seemed to be stumbling. The staff registered us easily and upon getting into our room, there was quite a few loud banging noises and we figured out it was coming from an exit door where someone kept entering and exiting our floor. I did not like that I got a cheaper rate going third party rather than booking directly with Hilton and getting rewards. Other than that, our stay was wonderful.
