Just loved the place… wonderful location amazing hospitality… toilets could have been little better… apart from that everything was perfect… spent hours together sitting in the garden and just staring at the beautiful view from there….

Terrible Hotel / Resort with Just A picturesque Location Staff is Terrible, Non - co-operative , un- professional, and haven't been Learned or trained about Hospitality in Life. I have went their with Two Nights Booking but left Hotel with-in Span of 18 Hours. Points - Property is not maintained properly, No cleanliness around the Buildings, Rooms, Lobby, Restaurants. Completely Non Operational Bar. They nothing like Bar inside the property They have nothing Like Gym / Wellness center / or spa ( though it is mentioned on website) don't get misguided by it, Spa is closed after Covid Lockdown - As said by Mr Ashwin ( Receptionist) Terrible Staff - Asking wifi password and i'd from Receptionist Mr ashwin is as compared to Asking his Kidney for donation. No Bell Boy / Staff to support for luggage. Heavy shortage of Staff Rooms are not clean and not worth to pay at any of the category, Bathrooms are not maintained, Showers oth working Properly, Geysers are just for show - not working. NO DRINKING WATER SUPPLY FROM RESORT. Terrible Restaurant - Highly Shortage of Staff, Not well trained and completely Non Professional staff with No Mamager to take Care, Have to wait 40 Mins to Simple Ghee Dosa also, Food is very much Average. Very islotaed type location of property This is Just the rooms and stay - Not a Resort, not worthy to pay, I did this Biggest mistake

Great outdoors with below average rooms with worse service quality. Could be with the room type I went with. But there was nothing premium with the room as the name suggests. Be really careful while booking. Ask for 1st floor rooms and ask what view you would get from your balcony, of your room comes with one - get it in writing if you can. I specifically asked for Premium suite with valley view and all I got was a balcony with a view of an adjacent tree. Haggled with the Mr. Shanmugam at the check in desk and with Mr. Alwin but all they tried to resolve the issue was to upsell a luxury suite. I didn't have much hope with the level of "luxury" I would get from it, so refused the offer. Guests would be willing to upgrade when they are satisfied with they get and would like to shell out more money for a more premium experience. They shouldn't be forced to spend more just because you couldn't deliver what you promised to. Customer service 101. Staffs, it seems, are trained to say no to every ask from the guests, and they do it indifferently. Train your staffs one or two about customer service. ***y instances that brought me unpleasant experience. 1. My room heater was not functioning at its first run, and they replaced it with another one with a load of gyaan on how to use it. It took me by surprise when they asked me to always use it as warmer. Why would I spend this much and use a sub-par faulty heating system as a warmer? Do you expect me and my family to shiver in the night? 2. Entrance door doesn't latch on properly and you have to slam it really hard. Called the house keeping and they educated me how push button door handle work Yada Yada but didn't really solve the issue. A cheap travelers lodge has a better door. 3. Peak of it all, I asked for a room change and the person at the check in desk made me wait down the hallway and disappeared. Had to chase him down to have him show me the rooms. 4. Staffs were ridiculing about another guest in front of me. I'm sure they would have done the same about me when I was around. 5. Total lack of coordination and ownership among the staffs especially during check in process. They were in a confusion with where I needed to park and finally had to walk long way from the parking lot to my room. I don't mind walking but the bellboy asked me to carry one of my luggages to the suite. Why don't you get another personnel if there are too ***y luggage? Guests are arriving at your place after a long tiresome travel. Treat them tender. They are paying you up for these kind of niceties. I have never seen such a rough check in process in any resort. 6. During check out, I made a simple request to a bell boy to ask my family waiting at the car parking to come to the reception area and relax there, while I finish the checkout process. No brownie points for the guess. He didn't. They were still waiting when I returned and he was just standing there. When I asked him, he said he was busy with transferring luggage

Horrible ***agement. Full of lies. Don’t book deluxe cottage- it is one that is in a corner of the property facing the fence. Completely money minded and no hospitality whatsoever. Poor thing that this wonderful property is with such owners. Korangu and poomalai story.

The environment of this hotel is simply amazing. It is surrounded by green views and the cold weather makes it nice. However, the downside are poor customer services (had to find somebody for some time for us to check in, had to climb stairs to reach our room yet nobody was there to help us bring the luggage to our room and we had to pull it ourselves), wifi is available only at the reception area and breakfast hall, etc.

Great location. The staffs were very kind and polite . Offers complimentary buffet breakfast (South Indian , North Indian and continental). Driver can have food at the canteen located inside the resort at minimum cost.we have experienced short time power cuts ( frequently) due to the weather and no auto power backups till July 7 th 2022 and no rooms provided for the drivers as it’s occupied by some training people.

Dear Sir, My family: Rahul Oturkar – Room 301, 302 My friend's family: Mililnd Shewale – Room S6, S8. stayed in hill country resorts Kodaikanal from 29.05.2022 to 01.06.2022. I would like to provide feedback to you on our stay: 1. Where is your reception? After our cars arrived at the resort, we had to struggle to find the front desk because nobody was there at the arrival front gate of the resort. How can you have your front desk deep inside somewhere, very difficult to find, no person or sign boards to guide guests to the reception. 2. Unpleasant/rude/arrogant behaviour of reception person We had paid over Rs. 80000 in advance for our stay. ***y people may be paying more than this. We were two families requiring 4 rooms nearby each other, but that does not mean your receptionist should humiliate us by saying “sir, you booked standard room sir. You will get the room which is available” As if we are beggars to book a standard room and to get a better trea**ent we should have booked a high end room. 3. Common sense a. Any person (barring local people) arriving in your resort could arrive only in afternoon after a long drive either from Coimbatore of Madurai or nearby hill station Munnar, anybody would expect good nice food. We could get just snacks because restaurant was closed. That is also fine but the person in the restaurant was in so hurry that before we could say what we wanted, he was assuming what we wanted and was writing the same. When we said, not this but this dish, there was a visible irritation on his face. He thought we should order what he wanted to serve not what we wanted. b. All the service providers in the restaurant were sleepy at all times looking tired, waiting for customer to finish and go. Customers come to you for relaxing and eat leisurely not to hurry. c. We were in total 8 people. Common sense says, that 8 glasses of water should be provided. Everytime, we had to tell your people because on a table of 8, there were only 2 glasses. Even after telling they provided repeatedly 1 glass less and we had to remind again to provide the last glass. d. No table was anytime ready with cutlery, salt, black pepper, butter, sugar bags, etc… These are required by each customer everytime he sits to eat breakfast. Each time when we asked for salt, it came in big bowl which generally is used for cornflakes and milk. Who will require salt in such high quantity? e. Grilled bread slices were kept in a container which is used to keep sambar or other things warm. The bread slices became like rubber due to the steam. Your people don’t have common sense that bread toast can be made and eaten fresh so that bread remains crispy. Instead they keep rubbery bread toast and forget the essential cutlery on table. A complete lack of common sense. f. Buffet dinner is the most convenient way of dining in any restaurant attached to a resort. Your people served the buffet only on 29th May. 30th and 31st May, we had to order ala-carte where the capt

The resort is located just behind sterling Kodai valley resort at a better price. Spectacular Hill View, Amazing location and delicious food. The staff was cordial and takes care of all your needs. This place is 4 km from Kodai lake and you will have to take your own vehicle for sightseeing or the resort Will arrange one for you at additional charges.
