The location was really breathtaking, simply wonderful. The room was cleand and cozy (even had electric blankets to keep you warm in place of air conditioning!) and restaurant served tasty, Chinese dishes in good prices. Overall, the experience - together with the hike - was very nice but it has to be noted that in case of the simplest no-bathroom room, the shared public toilet and bathroom is quite a disgusting experience. We've seen a lot and this one 'topped' it all.

This suite is the most comfortable suite I have ever stayed in a B&B, including the most comfortable suite in a hotel. The room facilities are very complete. The bathtub is also very comfortable. There are many clothes for the children to play with. The bathroom is also equipped with a washing machine. It is really considerate and clean in terms of hygiene. The price is worthy of the price. Before coming, I called the front desk manager Wang Wei to ask for help in booking a room with a good view and close to the restaurant. The service was really good. After guiding me to get off at the East Gate on Route 3, I took a Didi taxi directly to the hotel. Floor heating, air conditioning, and the room is preheated in advance. After checking in, you can rest warmly. There are various free drinks in the refrigerator, with at least 6 bottles of pure water, a capsule coffee machine, and a fully intelligent toilet. Yes, free oversized disposable toilet covers and bath towels are provided! The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows, and you can see the Great Buddha Temple and prayer wheels. The hotel is in an excellent location. It is in the ancient city, next to Guishan Park, and Moonlight Square is just a few minutes away from the hotel. Taxi dining is OK, and all rooms are facing the ancient city and the big city. The Buddhist temple overlooks the entire Dukezong, and the night view is beautiful. The hotel also has a shuttle bus service to the 7 observation decks and restaurants. In short, it was a full high-end stay experience. The meaning of family travel is to give yourself and your family a comfortable experience and relaxation. This is the second time I came to Shangri-La with my wife. I accidentally saw this hot spring tent camp on Trip.com. The first time I noticed it was its unique location. Valley and plateau hot springs have a strong attraction for small potatoes like our coastal city. After the actual stay, this hotel really exceeded expectations. The hotel environment is really great! More than a dozen tent rooms are located by the lake. Every time you open the camp account, you will see the invincible scenery. You can see the water birds playing, and you can also see the horses eating grass on the opposite pasture. Even sitting by the lake for an afternoon will not feel tired. It's so healing! The hotel reception hall is bright and tidy, and very design. Floor-to-ceiling windows face the lake. You can sit down and have a cup of coffee is very comfortable! The facilities in the tent are all available, clean and tidy, with a separate bathroom. The air conditioner in the account is also very warm, so don't worry about winter. The store also prepared a humidifier very intimately, praise! Of course, the most worth mentioning is the hot spring private soup in the hotel, the privacy is good, the real geothermal spring water, the temperature is strong, and all the fatigue is gone after the night, it is really amazing! Staying in the city for a long time really will yearn for nature, this trip to Shangri-La, here is really the most surprising point for me, look at the lake, look at the starry sky, as if the whole world has slowed down!

Singaporean travellers. Recommend this hostel if you plan to stay within the ancient town. Host was really friendly and helpful. We got advice and suggestions on itinerary, and host also had contacts with local drivers to 拼车/包车 which were much needed as we didn't have contacts for our travel. We went to Pudacuo national park, Songzanlin monastery, Meili Mountain. Amenities were complete and comfortable to stay in. Smart toilet, warm heated room, simple breakfast provided, lounge area with cute pet dog :)

Very nice place, the room is big, The bed very comfortable and the shower works perfectly. The bathroom was clean but some hair on the floor, but overall okay. The location was great, no noisy at all and a lot of restaurants nearby. We had a late checkout and they stored our luggage while we were waiting for our flight at night. Shangri-la was amazing! Staff were friendly and kind. The reception is very welcoming and courteous! The location is good with it being half way between Songzanlin Monastery and Old Town.I would like to thank Vivian four her help. We did not have a car to take us back to the hotel in Pudacuo National Park, and she immediately asked her colleague to pick us up.

I have stayed in many hotels in Shangrila old town over the past 12 years so have a little experience. Location: Close to the top dancing square but at the top of a very steep hill. It had rained so the stone street was VERY slippery. It is close to impossible to walk up the hill with suitcase. There is a 1/2 meter wide ***** of carpet that was laid down on the right side of the road going up the hill. It gave great traction, but unfortunately some non-thinking person had parked their electric cart directly on top of the carpet so you could not navigate it. I arrived at 6 PM and that electric cart was still sitting on the carpet in the same place the next morning at 9 AM. Trying to walk around the electric cart , but I did slip and fell to the ground. I would not come back to this hotel again, if there was any potential for any rain. The picture is of the morning after the rain had dried. When I booked my room, they did tell me that there was only one room remaining and it was for four people. I was solo but I booked it anyway. Unfortunately, I did not understand that there are four beds that are actually side-by-side touching each other. They are very very thin pads laid on top of a wooden platform. No way to get into or out of any bed without crawling back to the foot of the bed and going over the edge that way. It was the hardest sleeping service I have ever been on and got very little sleep. If I had my sleeping bag and camping mattress, I would’ve just slept on the floor. Won’t be back here again. The service people at the hotel were very nice. Offered to carry my bag up to my room on the third floor and the woman who provided the breakfast in the morning was very pleasant. Have no complain about the service just the beds in the access to the hotel. If it’s raining, make it a no go for me
