It is great that the pool area has fresh paint carpets are all gone and some rooms have new chairs and touch ups, but overall the property needs TLC. The new menu in the onsite restaurant was welcome. We have stayed every winter for about 10 years so the upgrades and changes are welcome.

Overall, the stay was good. the location is excellent for hiking etc, pools were well maintained. Restaurant staff were friendly and couteous. There were some water issues of which we were informed of on arrival but the hotel provided us with bottled drinking water. Would definitely recoomend this hotel.

This hotel was once great, now its falling apart. No one seemed to maintain it, the room was really dirty and dusty. Furnitures were all stained, walls were run down. The pool was clean before and white, now its all yellow, the water was all yellow and smelled.

It would have been nice to arrive to the resort with it in the same or better state than it was the previous year. Much to our dismay it was evident we were in for a "journey" when we were greeted by parts of the exterior wall on the ground near the check in parking area. The front desk person that checked us in was clearly demonstrating they belong in a behind the scenes maintenance role. Their name eludes me, but the best way to describe them would be Spock which suits their personality to a T. I've Never in my life had such a cold and lack luster hospitality interaction, from London UK, to Davos Switzerland, Kauai and Honolulu HI any many, many points in-between. Our check in would have been more enjoyable with a kiosk I'm sad to say. Spa side of things... the hideous winter barrier from the outdoor to indoor pool should have been removed with the warmer air temps during our visit. Ultimately our trip that was meant to be one of recharge and relaxation was destroyed by the fact we rarely had hot water in our shower and the friends we brought with us for their first visit had no hot water in their shower to speak of for their entire stay. Also the thin walls and door to our room made it very unbearable to the screaming children in the halls and neighbouring guests beside and above us. Our friends a few doors down with their extremely well behaved dog had to deal with their own noise disturbances as well. Our room wasn't clean but I decided to leave that un reported during our stay as the bedding was clean and that was the most important to us. I understand it can be hard to get good help in remote areas so I brought my own cleaner and cloth with me after last year's visit. Long as the bedding was clean I could deal with the rest myself. The coffee table was in disrepair, the lighting very confusing and lacking. Windows to enjoy the stunning view, were filthy. I would have gone out to clean them myself but didn't want to draw attention trying to locate which room was ours from the outside and worry other guests in a privacy sense. Sofa and desk chair looked like they hadn't been steam cleaned in a very long time. The other lounge chairs were either stained or simply needed a wipe. The person that checked us out. Jose I believe was his name. We remembered him from last year. What a great person and amazing at his job!!

$200 a night for a dirty, poorly maintained motel like experience. Towels had makeup on them- they clearly had not been changed since the last guests. Cobwebs on the ceilings, drywall needing patching, and no hot water in the shower. Incredibly noisy. Restaurant is okay, but overpriced.

Stayed for spring break which is always busy. As a repeat customer I knew this going in. The hotel is still good but starting to show some age. Overall I would go back but there needs to be more housekeeping staff assigned on spring break to keep up with the demand.

Checked in on Easter Monday, and had a great 3 nights! The kids LOVED the pool! We were able to go biking to the Marina, the roads were bare. We got to take advantage of nice weather to walk a few trails as well. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was EXCELLENT!!! Definitely going back!

The pool was constantly out of towels. The rooms are quite dated and in need of general maintenance and updating. They never seem to enforce no kids in the adult only pool. There was black mold in the pool area and all around the tub in our bathroom, quite gross. Wasn’t just our room- our whole family had mold in their rooms. Peeling wallpaper. Hard to eat at restaurant without reservation. Food was decent. They need to expand the adult pool and bar areas- only open until 10!? It has a lot of potential to be a fantastic place and actually qualify for the resort name it has, but needs a lot of work. Quite disappointed in our stay.

The rooms were dated, wall paper was peeling off. There was mold in our tub. The parking lots was a sheet of ice. The pool was not maintained, adult side of the pool area had kids and stuff didn’t do anything about it.
