The location is beautiful amongst the trees. The cabins and public area's are tired and need repair. From a price point the cabins are quite expensive and not well maintained.

Unlike any experience we have ever had. The property is nestled within the rainforest and is an absolute gem. Room was comfortable and the shower setting was divine. Breakfast and dinner were decent considering where you were. Truly felt like we were camping in the rainforest with the comfort of a glamping/cabin experience. The staff were really helpful and kind. Thank you for making our honeymoon even more memorable!

Loved the experience of staying in the Daintree Rainforest. Lovely setting and especially loved the shower overlooking all the trees and ferns. The lodge itself was comfortable and clean but a bit tired. Could not fault the staff especially Cat. The menu in the restaurant is very much geared towards meat eaters and I am vegetarian, however the chef made me a nice vegetarian dish. We were driven here so a bit restricted as it is remote. It would be great to have had a car to explore the area. Even so we enjoyed a lovely walk along a marked trail. The trip over the river was exciting though because we saw 2 crocodiles

The Lodge is built with a hub and spoke layout with the dining room at the centre of the hub and individual cabins built at the end of the spokes so each cabin (I think there were 9) is isolated from all the others and therefore very peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights. Our cabin was basic but comfortable, everything worked and we had a relaxing stay. The food from a small menu was good and there was something for everyone on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone seeking a peaceful stay in the rain forest

One of the best places we have ever stayed anywhere in the world. Atmosphere, quality of facility, service, and location were all excellent. The most beautiful shower I've ever been in with a wall of glass to the Rainforest. Beautiful boardwalks. Lovely meal atmosphere. High value!

Such an incredible experience. The privacy and seclusion of each cabin within the rainforest made this a highly unique experience. The staff were fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable and very passionate about the land. The lodge also strives to reduce impact to the surrounding environment and maintains the cabins on solar power (so don’t expect to run your air con 24/7). Would highly recommend this experience in the beautiful Daintree.

The highlight is being amongst the trees in the wilderness, the location is absolutely stunning. The cabin themselves are tired and need repair. The cabins are a good size, the bed was comfortable and the linens clean, but on the down side the windows did not lock and the air conditioner is pre-set and on a timer, so if you wanted the room to be cool you continually had to keep pressing the button on the wall every two hours for the air conditioner to work, which is pretty annoying when you wake up in a pool of sweat. The windows in our cabin did not lock and needed repair so trying to cool the room was pointless as the cool air escaped through the cracks in the windows that would not lock. The bathroom was nice, with good shower pressure and well lit, but our bathroom window that had no window covering was in direct view of the on site restaurant, and even though some effort at some stage was made to put up a wooden screen in front of the bathroom window to give you some privacy, there were wooden slats missing so you did not have any privacy, so there is a fine line between enjoying nature and being an exhibitionist for other hotel guests. There is no tv reception, and no mobile phone coverage and the internet is available near the reception area of the hotel, but then again you are there to enjoy nature and the Daintree forest. Public area’s of the property need repair. There were lights that were broken on the path and you had to use your own torch to see where you were going without falling off the path. The wooden slats on the path were weak and some broken, making it a trip hazard. The nightly rate is very expensive, so you expect things to be maintained and repaired. The breakfast which was included in the price, was nice but very rationed. I have never had Eggs Benedict served with only half a muffin? The staff are lovely. Ross was very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out some great points of interest to visit around the Diwan & Daintree area. There is also a nice walking trail near the property to enjoy the trees.
