The Amida is a good choice for a visit to this Kurdish city. It is centrally located, close to the historic sites and also to major shopping streets. Don't be put off by the small and rather unimpressive lobby. The location on the map looks a bit remote, but in fact, it takes only 10 minutes to walk to the old city, museum, military camp and hospital area. It feels very safe, and the most important thing is tranquility, which does not affect sleep!
