Hotel Vita - Terme Dobrna

Hotel in a beautiful position, unfortunately the thermal baths, at least in the winter period, are not up to par. Cold environments and poorly heated water in the pools. The rooms are not connected to the pools but you need to take a double lift and go through the reception/entrance each time. Buffet varied but very repetitive and of low quality. We have shortened the stay.

Pools too cold, air too cold, you feel it when you get out of the water, we asked to change the room because we had been assigned a room in one of the hotels 200 m from the hotel with the pools (imagine with two children going back and forth for meals and for the swimming pools) instead of a double/family room they gave us two doubles paying the extra price but in reality they were two singles, the food was also good but nothing special, the only satisfactory thing was kind receptionists and a beautiful view.

Vintage structure, and probably intended for medical assistance given the average age of the customers. Restaurant without tablecloths, some lack of maintenance in the rooms. The sauna is limited to the afternoon. Quality and variety of the culinary offer in the sideboard. The price is not proportionate to the service offered. Definitely room for improvement. PS they don't speak Italian at the reception. Room cleaning on departure.

The structure was born in a thermal complex, perhaps among the oldest in Slovenia. It is divided into a central body (Hotel vita), where there is direct access to both the spa, the restaurant and other locations that differ in price and room comfort (boutique hotel). My reviews are always very objective and I try to convey reality without futile comparisons. The rooms (I stayed in the Vita hotel) are warm, simple, welcoming and functional. The buffet is varied but pleasing the Italians is not easy, cmq we are in Slovenia and the cuisine is totally different from ours, but cmq for those who do not like self service you can use the à la carte restaurant of the same hotel for a fee (low prices) , where you can eat well. Friendly and helpful staff. The spa is small but pleasant, the water temperature is hot but not boiling about 35 degrees. In the main building there is a very functional medical rehabilitation center from what I have been able to notice. I also tried a relaxing massage in the small beauty center, a real gem where the operators are all really helpful and nice. Also I would like to thank Davorin the manager of the structure for his professionalism, kindness and courtesy he has for all his guests, he loves his work and does it with passion ... thank you !!!!
