Untrained personnel. They don't know how to clean the room. How to behave around guests when they need privacy. The price does not correspond to the service at all. We lived in this villa 2 years ago and everything was great.This year it's just terrible.

We had the most amazing time at this exceptionally picturesque hotel. It's very tastefully designed, is spacious and ideal for a getaway! The service staff are very friendly and cook yummy Sri Lankan food. The resort also offers kayaks and life vests that you can borrow for a ride on the lake

What an excellent 3 nights and 4 days stay we all had at your beautiful mo river house, definitely a worthwhile place to go again with family or friends, loved the Sri Lankan old villa which has been really nicely done up along with the lake surroundings, canoeing facility, lovely radio station and lovely music all around the villa all day long. Beautiful lawn all around and to top it up, lovely personal chef Mr. Jay and service by our own butler Mr. Saranga and the gardener as well. Furthermore I think January 2022 was a lovely month to go in, excellent evenings, especially with the formal table decor, yummy local cuisine made by our own personal chef. Another plus point was that it was just 5-7 minutes’ car ride towards Hikkaduwa town for other restaurants, hotel, supermarkets etc. Highly recommended place, will give it full 5 stars.

As we made our way to the Mo River House through the narrow twisting lanes, nothing prepared us for what lay ahead..... The house took our breath away! Tastefully done and postcard perfect. We've made memories to last a lifetime! The staff was amazing and the food and hospitality was outstanding.
