La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Las Cruces Mesilla Valley

The room had nothing but two towels and a roll of toilet paper. NOTHING ELSE. They might be in the process of renovating… I hope that’s the case… But nothing was mentioned. In my travels over the last year I had begun to appreciate La Quinta returning to being a pleasant and safe motel as they were when the chain opened. Definitely not theCase with this property. The worst part was the fact that the door lock mechanism was loose and broken on the inside! Along with very poor lighting on the property.

Room was clean but hallways were filthy. Outside trash cans were overflowing and never emptied during our stay. Fitness center is small but has brand new equipment. Complimentary breakfast was decent. Shower was standard, however it had great pressure and was nice and hot. Overall, its a decent place to crash, but nothing special.

Very dirty, since its pet friendly the carpet in rooms and hallways smelt like urine. rooms smelt like mildew and showers had mildew on ceiling

I had a reservation for this hotel. I attempted to check in for the room I had reserved late in the evening at approximately 10pm. When I entered the hotel, there was a sign on one of the doors saying the door was out of order. I saw there were about 3 other people in line, so I ducked around the corner to use the men's restroom - it was also out of order. I went back to stand in line to check-in. There was one person working the front desk. The other folks in line ahead of me were not checking in - they were lodging complaints: my restroom is dirty; my curtains will not close and you can see into my room from the outside; I asked for a double-double and you put me in a single, and the AC in the room doesn't work. When it was my turn, I handed my ID to the check-in person and she informed me that there were no double-double rooms available, but if I was okay waiting a short time the room would be available. My daughter and I waited for more than 30 minutes and still no room was available. Additionally, the front desk rep was working on her phone to try and check us in and check room status because her computer wasn't working. To add on, the person was rude and not very helpful. She tried to put us in a room but noted "there is a stain on the toilet in the room." No thank you. We ended up leaving the hotel and finding another one in the vicinty. No - I would not recommend this hotel. They didn't have the room I booked available when I arrived (at 10 pm); they tried to get me to accept a room with a stained toilet, and I listened to many other complaints from people who had already checked in. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere other than here.

The room needed visible repairs, the pillows were not comfotable and there was a hair on the coffee cup.

Waited forever to check in, no clean towels. Dirty place
