Huimei Hotel

I got an upgrade to a bigger room on this visit but I almost tripped over as I passed by the bedside. The thread of the duvet cover was torn so a big gap was created to trip me as I passed by (see attached photos for details). Fortunately the room maid was on the floor working on other rooms, so upon my request the cover was changed to avoid further risk. Second issue is the WiFi. I think it is the existence of both the old and the new system, so you will get a poor signal if you log onto the network with the name of the hotel. Alternatively the signal is good if you log onto the network with a default label. This is not a problem as long as the guests were informed upon check in to avoid the unnecessary inconvenience. (See attached photos for details) TV was replaced with a smart TV but the TV channel list wasn't updated accordingly. The other goodies such as free self service laundry, extra free bottles of water at the front desk and late check out policy are still available. 👍👍👍

Very comfortable for rest and recreation, very good rooms and bed, good different lighting, very good shower facilities.

I like the location as it is convenient to move around where there is food, massage,shop around the area by foot

No restaurant, no laundry service but there's a DIY on the 4th floor. When i was there beginning of Nov 2025, there was renovation going on.

- room wifi is weak … no signal at all - telco signal is also weak - the bed is hard - Hong Kong TVB channel only 1 - room hygiene is average… can be better - had stayed before .. but no improvement since

The hotel is well located at Changping city center in Dongguan. It provided all basic amenities and is clean. However, I was disappointed that the windows could not open. There is still lingering smell of smoke in the room dispute it is supposed to be a non-smoking room in a non-smoking floor. Suggestions for improvement when your hotel is up for renovation: 1. Make windows that can be open for better ventilation. 2. Remove all carpets from all rooms so it is more sanitary and easier to keep clean. The carpets has many stain in them and emits odour. I want to compliment on the staffs of the hotel. They were very courteous and helpful. They helped made our stay pleasant.
