Very pleasant stay. Hardly any complaints. The staff and the service was excellent and very friendly. The room more than comfortable en clean. Great variety of food! Good quality and variation. For my wife and me Baraza was a great choice to celebrate our 40 years wedding anniversary. A week we will never forget... 2 Tips: start a lobby to finish the road to the airport asap. It's very bumpy and not in line with the comfort at the resort. The administration and costs for a visum at the airport after arrival was a very unpleasant surprise. Expensive, suspicious, only cash (!) and no information and service... For us this was not a good start (...). In great contrast with the excellent service at the resort. It was wonderful and we will definitely come back!

Magnifique ! Très très bel hôtel. Parfaitement situé. Plage sublime. Architecture épurée de style oriental. Villas qui sont immergées dans un Jardin rafraîchissant. Accueil parfait et attentionné. Service tout autant attentionné et très professionnel. De nombreuses petites attentions tout au long du séjour. Piscine, bars, terrasse, cocotiers, etc. Que demander de plus ? La cuisine nette et précise est gastronomique. Le petit déjeuner est parfait. Le buffet reste presque du sur mesure et le dîner à la carte de haute volée. Présentation et harmonie des saveurs. Tout y est. Un avant goût de paradis tropical. Merci à toute l’équipe du Baraza pour son accueil attentionné, sa présence tout en discrétion et en amabilité. Zanzibar à son meilleur. Nous recommandons très vivement cet havre de charme bercé par les vagues de l’océan indien. Un des plus bels hôtels que nous ayons fréquenté dans l’océan indien. Malgré une météo très capricieuse, la féerie du lieu et les multiples délicates attentions du personnel ont su rendre notre escapade à Zanzibar fantastique. Les villas sont somptueuses presque trop pour nous qui ne sommes pas habitués à un tel luxe, nos deux pré-ados s'y sont très vite adaptés. La literie est très confortable et je suis pourtant une habituée des maux de dos aucun soucis pendant tout le séjour. Quant aux repas ils sont délicieux, variés avec toujours une option végétarien et parfaitement présentés. Encore merci à tous le personnel d'avoir rendu ce séjour si inoubliable !

A beautiful located resort with a wonderful beach. Looking for relaxed and luxurious holidays its the best place to be at Zanzibar. Perfect hospitality meets fine dining and stylish 30 bungalows, each coming with a private pool. Highly recommended!

After a wonderful but tiring safari in Tanzania, I came to heaven on Earth. Resort Baraza was even more than I had hoped for! The beautifully decorated resort looks exactly like in the photos, but the photos cannot announce the warm and friendly staff that raised the stay at the resort to a special level. Apart from the staff, every meal was a new joy and every member of the family could choose flavors according to their taste. I have traveled to many resorts in the world, but Baraza has taken a special place in the heart of our family. Tamara from Croatia

I Am A Well Traveled Man All Around The World This Place Is Truly A Beautiful Place Amazing Architecture,So Spacious My 4th Visit Here. Place Is Still Magnificent However Unfortunately Service & Food Had Gone Down Using Cheap Local Staff Now. We Ordered Fresh Crab , They Had Clearly Used Frozen Crab You Expect A Lot Better. I Will Still Come Back Hope They Take My Comments Seriously

That was my fifth time at the Barazza and once more I was not disappointed. First there is the oustanding location with an untouched immaculate beach from which you can spend hours watching the ocean shifting colors. There is also the refined resort with its white sophisticated lines and shapes that seems to have emerged from an Arabic dream or even better from The thousand and one nights. And of course there is the staff : so nice, so devoted, so helpful, so present without never being intrusive. Of course I could praise so many other things such as the food, the drinks or the spa but such an experience must be lived to be fully understood. I very seldom write reviews but having read one quite dismissive and so different from my own stays I felt I had to set the record straight. If I wanted to be 100 percent fair in my review I would just say that two things could be improved in the beautiful villa : the plastic soap dispenser in the shower that is not up to the standards of such a place and the flush in the toilets that cruelly lacks power. But those are just details and hopefully I hope to be back for a sixth time.
