Very clean hotel, fairly varied and consistent buffet. Thank you to all the smiling and professional staff and Sonia at the Bar / Cathrine upstairs and all the others whose names I don't remember 🙏 The wifi connection has improved on the 5th floor.

Been staying at the Ibis since mid 90s originally not through choice but now I stay through choice. The rooms used to have great firm mattresses, not anymore, like bed topping on a divan, showers to choices scalding hot or cold. The food, what to say, terrible, local fresh ingredients transformed in to chicken, fish and beef that resemble ****y and have a similar taste to Michelins finest, same menu for weeks on end. Seriously book in but eat out.. Why stay there?, Friendliest most helpful staff I've run across ever, most have worked there for years and years., Makes up for the multitude deficiencies.

Right security, that was great! No air conditioning or deliberately put it to malfunctioning, needs fresh air or smells around, no sufficient ventilation in the rooms or the one I was. However, there is room for improvement.

I had almost a month stay here and really satisfied with room service and food..buffet breakfast also really tasty and the change in menu everyday will make everyone happy. I would like stay here if I visit Douala again.
