We booked 4 nights bed and breakfast for 2 adults. However, when we went for breakfast on day 1 the restaurant was locked. When we texted the owners we were told they had cancelled breakfasts at the end of September because it was uneconomical. Others also complained as noted in the comment book. We were told no refund was available as the breakfast was "COMPLIMENTARY". Also, the shower needs looking at as it could not be adjusted past the level of scorching hot. Not a particular problem with this hotel but in general visitors coming with their own cars should be informed that parking is a problem in Douglas. We were told we could park in the street but this proved impossible and we had to park about 20 minutes away on the promenade and time was limited.

Worst experience ever. There was a hand washing dispenser that had a greasy discharge before the soap came out. A TV that does not work. A broken shower which threw water everywhere and gathered lots of water nearly up to the ankles. Room was very cold. It says there is plenty of free parking, unfortunately this isn’t the case. Parking is on the street and you have to come down every two hours to change hours on the parking disc. Took a while to get the instructions on how to get into the house as the phones weren’t being answered and there is no one to attend to guests. May be other rooms are better but ours was a nightmare. We ended up not sleeping there and had to shower at a friend’s house
