Welbeck Hotel & Apartments

We stayed at the Welbeck for 4nights,cannot fault this Hotel,the room was amazing beautiful layout, we even had a balcony,the staff are fantastic,very professional, friendly&very accommodating absolutely nothing was to much trouble,the breakfast and evening meals were cooked to perfection.we would highly recommend staying here &will definitely be back.

Stayed at the Welbeck on several occasions as always we had a perfect stay with no problems .Rooms are clean and warm we had no complaints about noise, breakfast is good and very filling . The Welbeck is located roughly half way down the prom up a small hill/side street. It is easy walking to either electric trams or ferry terminus. Parking can be a bit awkward at times but it’s a very short walk from the sea front . The hotel has disabled access and a small lift to all floors.

What a gem of a hotel, lovely helpful staff, immaculate throughout. It was really hot when we arrived but moved rooms without hesitation to a cooler room with a fan. Breakfast cooked to order and to perfection. Easy access to prom, buses and tram.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the reception staff Trevor and Rosin, the chef Mike, the bar staff, the room cleaning staff and all others who have made my stay at the Welbeck Hotel a delightful and enjoyable one. I will definitely come back on my next visit.

Highly recommended! We had a superb afternoon tea at the Welbeck Hotel. It could not have been nicer: the food was delicious, plentiful and beautifully presented. Lucy was so kind and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. She even gave us a handwritten card and a bottle of prosecco on the house, when she discovered it was our silver wedding anniversary, which we weren’t expecting at all – we were really touched.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Welbeck Hotel & Restaurant - Went for Sunday lunch here today and honestly… it was lush 🤤 Food was absolutely spot on, really generous portions and everything tasted amazing. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed too, just what you want for a proper Sunday lunch! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a great roast!

Sunday evening so all that was available was roast or fish... didn't fancy the roast so went for the baked cod.... when it arrived I couldn't get my knife through it... never had that problem with fish before...so sent it back and wasn't prepared to risk a second

Our short stay at the Welbeck was a delight from start to finish. The Deluxe Superking room was thoughtfully furnished (proper wardrobe with loads of hangers, plenty of storage space, large desk with mirror) with a spotless and spacious bathroom featuring a walk-in enclosed shower. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with a wide selection of pillows to suit all preferences and crisp linens. The room was flooded with natural light through large windows and, despite the hotel being conveniently close to the promenade, pin-drop quiet at night. Breakfast was piping hot, delicious and customised to our exact preferences, served with a smile by the chef and waiting staff. Every staff member we encountered was warmly charming, interested and endlessly helpful: nothing was too much trouble to make our stay special.
