I was welcomed with a smile by Gary, the room was very clean with nice little touches. Fresh Water, Tea and Coffee making facilities, Coffee biscuits. Proper China Tea Cups and saucers and glasses for water in the room. The room and bathroom were very clean, bathroom had soft towels, supplied toiletries and also managed to watch some TV. A separate heater was also supplied. GREAT Breakfast choice, cooked, fruit, cereal, toast and yoghurt. Be sure to make this your go to booking if you are in the area. A very clean, comfortable place to stay, very pleased I stayed here and would stay here again.

After checking in and given our very big Raspberry room, the first thing we noticed was it was really cold and in fact the shower room and toilet had no heating in it at all? As it got dark we noticed the radiator in the corner of our room was only just warm, even after turning up the thermostatic rad valve from 3 to max it made no difference to it getting hot. There was a DImplex Oil filled Electric heater in the corner of the room which I plugged in but it was far too small in size to heat such a large high ceiling room so made little difference to stop us being cold. So we had to keep our coats on until we got into bed. At breakfast I told Garry how cold we had been and he promised to sort it for when we returned that night. However this had not happened so again we had a second night and morning in a freezing room and of course the shower room had no heating either. So we didn't bother to mention this to Garry again and after breakfast we checked out and left having as I said never stayed in a colder en-suite room in any other B&B before. We agree the breakfast was very good both in the options available and the portions of the full English. But being left Cold! for two nights we can't accept so shall not be returning! Lovely house in beautiful surroundings. Immaculately clean as oozing Art Deco touches. Very comfortable accommodation with attention to detail. The host, Gary, is very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. Great breakfasts. I would wholeheartedly recommend Crabble Hill House if you are visiting the area. There are many places to explore and Gary is on hand to share the knowledge he has of the local area.

Beautiful house with lovely Arts and Crafts features, overlooking a lovely garden. We arrived late and left early so didn’t get to enjoy very much of the house. Room and bathroom were cold but well supplied. We left too early for a breakfast but Gary (host) did a breakfast bag for us.

I stayed here with my son and husband in late October. This is sweet little B&B had great views over pretty garden. Being there in autumn made the view even better. The homemade breakfast was very good and the host was very gracious. Highly recommended.

Not the easiest to find on satnav, but once there it is a great guest house. Nice chap who runs it, Gary, who recommended a brilliant pub for dinner close by and the breakfasts are just what you need to set up the day! Conveniently located for the Channel Ferries. Large and well appointed room with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Large bay window, old style house, well maintained and full of character. Would definitely stay there again.
