The cleanliness of the hotel was bad. When we arrived, we saw all the towels were on the floor. We requested to change them but they just thought that we dropped the towels. Moreover, they haven’t closed our door firmly after room service. We just opened the door without any key when we came back. Luckily, we haven’t lost anything.

Immaculately clean everywhere, decor is refreshing, very comfortable and modern. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, happy and helpful. The chef made me the best poached eggs I’ve ever had staying in a hotel 👌 very accommodating! The temperature in the room was low but this is perfect for us (I’d rather have a cooler room that can be warmed up than a stuffy hot room that is suffocating) the bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were modern and fresh. Very quiet room (no outside road noise) Breakfast was lovely and had everything we could possibly want for a good breakfast. The hotel has a Bella Italian restaurant too which was equally nice. Thank you for a very pleasant relaxing stay we will be back.

The price of the high tea has dramatically increased by £10. While I accept prices have increased, this is a huge hike. I have visited numerous times and expected the high tea to have improved in quality to substantiate this increased, but it's exactly the same! Very disappointing. Also, to have no filter decaf coffee, but just to provide hot water and 2 sachets is not professional. Sadly, due to the huge price increase I will not be returning.

Check-in was outstanding. Quick, efficient and courteous. My Diamond Elite Status was recognised and rewarded with a generous room upgrade and breakfast. The room was fine and standard for a HI. A quiet room as requested and comfy beds and clean. We ate at the bar. My Sea Bass was really outstanding and great value. Very tasty, well presented and hot. Sometimes it's difficult to get all these three qualities together. The service though was almost half hearted. The food arrived and then the cutlery came after. No one asked how things were. There was no offer of further drinks or a dessert. Several staff walking past with heads in phones. Breakfast was good quality again, but staff interaction flat and almost too much effort. Why is this? At check-out we waited ten minutes at an unattended reception with paper work and guests names clearly on display. When the guy finally returned to reception there was no apology and again a half-hearted almost reluctant manner. Rather a shame given the potential of this place.

I booked the beautiful Marquee at the back of hotel for my 70th birthday party. Sechan and all the staff made my night so memorable and wonderful. I had 90 friends and family staying and the rooms were lovely. A big thank you to Chef who cooked the most beautiful curries and bbq food. Sechan and Sophie you are both extremely professional and went the extra mile to make my evening absolutely beautiful. Thank you
