Residence Inn Dover

Room 229: Broken door handles in comode in bathroom, side table inside door to the right is leaning so heavily that the Cooke bottle started to glide. Carpet in Livingroom towards kitchen area so torn that i got studs/spikes destroying one of my socks.2 breakfasts I had to eat on paper plates and plastic cutlery. One breakfast the assortment was just half and on question if there was some natural yoghurt the response was a plain No the truck i delayed ..... time was 07:15 so I wasn´t even the first guest.

Very clean and comfortable room, spacious. The pool was filled was dirty water and was cold, the hot tub was completely empty. The breakfast was sufficient and had variety of hot and cold items. Overall the place fit our needs for two days and would stay here again.

We stayed here 2 nights because we had a power outage after a snowstorm. Room was clean, the guy on the front desk was helpful and courteous. I think his name is Taylor or Naylor (i might be wrong). Breakfast was delicious. The housekeeping lady (I wish I had remember her name) she was so nice! Unfortunately, the pool was closed for renovations. 😢 Definitely will be staying here again.

All of the above. We really love our stay with Residence Inn and plan to come back soon. The only down fall was that some of the TV stations would not come in but it was ok.

Handicap room had no shower rails or seat so I could not shower for my entire stay

Terrible Experience.Checked in 10/18 and stayed in room 202. The room reeked of cooked food when we checked in. No other rooms were available and desk person said someone on the 1st floor was probably cooking and the smell was coming in through the vents. How does that even happen? My wife and I had to go to Target and buy Fabreeze and air freshners. Kept the windows open all night and the room still smelled in the morning. Requested housekeeping when we were leaving at 9:00 AM the next day and was told the room wold be cleaned and they would have Maintenance check on the odor. Returned to the room at 4:00 PM and the room hadn't been cleaned. They finally cleaned the room, but when we came back we found a 2" long clump of long, curly black hair on the bedroom carpet, and neither of us has curly black hair. The bedroom was so dark I almost didn't see it. Ended up going to another hotel for the remainder of the trip. Hard to believe this is a Marriot property. If you're thinking about staying here, think again.

The staff was very friendly. I actually booked another night very good here
