It was clean and the staff were friendly, making it a good trip. The location was great, so it was great for sightseeing around the area. We came at a time when the weather was nice, the market was open, and it was good in many ways.

We got an upgrade even though we only paid a last minute price
Rooms great, large and luxurious
Bicycles were stowed in the luggage room and were allowed to remain there until the afternoon after checkout
SPA area OK, but access to the roof terrace is not possible, but visitors to the roof terrace restaurant can see and enter the SPA area

We stayed in Gewandhaus Dresden Autograph Collection for our first family trip to Dresden. We booked two rooms for our family of four. Location was just a few minutes from the train station (we walked to and from). When we checked in earlier, the staff offered us our rooms right away. This hotel had a cozy courtyard and one of our rooms had this view. We also got luckily upgraded to a more spacious King room, which came in handy when we needed some space for work and for just lounging around. The location was just a few steps away from the historic areas. We never had to use Uber at all! I wasn’t able to use the sauna and steam room due to a hectic schedule, but I would have enjoyed it if I did, I’m sure. We truly enjoyed our stay at this property and we highly recommend it. We will book our stay here should we go back to Dresden again!
