Easy checking, late checkout, they had a big group for dinner, but were great at serving and very friendly. Room was standard, but lovely and clean. Try their Gin, it is brewed local and was lovely.

Front desk helpful. Food not so good. Parking not good - walking to room quite dangerous due to uneven pavement and lots of work trucks making parking difficult. Did not like the stairs especially coming down to an uneven step.

Think hitch hikers hostel and you will get an idea of what this place is like. We had a room in the portacabin, which shook as people went pass in corridor. Sound proofing poor. Twin which was barely adequate in size. Receptionist friendly and helpful but not worth the price. Especially, room only. There is a real lack of local amenities after 4pm.

The property advertised an on-site restaurant and bar including pictures on the booking website. Booked the hotel on the basis that we could have an evening meal. There was only a cafe that had warm food until 1:00 pm. We could not have a warm evening meal.

No mention of winter hours when booking. We visited for business so we were up early and expecting breakfast but it didn’t open until 9am(1 hour after we had to be in work) so had to find breakfast elsewhere. Also, no mention of the restaurant being shut for the winter so had to find out evening meals at different locations. Reception didn’t open until 9am either so had to wait around to check out in the morning. Overall, disappointed but the room was as expected for the price.

Very convenient place to stay over when visiting. Staff were friendly. Plenty of options for shopping and eating on site and nearby. Room was a bit small but manageable.

This a real tourist trap ! old hotel, poorly maintained and sad, a real hovel that should absolutely be avoided.
