We are very dissapointed with the accomodation, we asked for the room in the hotel, they send us the offer where was written only (beach view/ garden view) room and there was not mentioned we will not be accomodated in the hotel but in the separate buliding that looks terrible. We receive the confirmation of reservation in HOTEL. After our arrival we try to exchange the room and get for what we pay it means room in the HOTEL but we were not lucky and they say no rooms are available and if there will be free room we will have to pay EXTRA MONEY. In the email and phone Conversation before we book this hotel they did not mentioned we will not be accomodated in the hotel.IF WE KNOW WE WILL NOT BE ACCOMODATION IN THE HOTEL WE WILL NOT CHOOSE IT. I enclose the photos of our accomation. We will definetely NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL ANYMORE, TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!

First of all I would like to tell that the hotel itself, the location and the athmosphere were good and satisfying. But when like a small piece of dirt on the very elegant tablecloth could ruin your dinner and the overall satisfaction, some negative "experiences" can pull your feeling down during the holiday. 1. Smoking on the restaurant terasse during mealtime. The hotel is fully advertised as a family hotel, newborns & kids are welcomed. When you would like to enjoy your meal it is a really annoying if somebody creats a smokecloud around your table and do not pay even a small understanding about other guests' comfort having the breakfast or dinner without cigarette smoke. The Hotel, if they want, could have regulated this problem in the Rules of House, but I did not see. 2. Tasteless food. Main courses and sidedishes are being prepared without adding salt and peppers. If you fell the need taking spices into your meal you can do it after cooking. Honestly it is not the most satisfying way of meal preparation. Even the chilli con carne did not contain halapenos. Waiters, upon my questions, told me that they have to take care about the majorities'taste, not everybody likes the food prepared like me. I should accept this, it's true. 3. Glutein intolerance acknowledge by a waiter in Indigo Lets have a good lunch at the Indigo bar. That was the intention. The young waiter brought the menu where all food intolerance info and restricitions were displayed. Due to the involvement we are quite educated which type of meal must be avoided and which are allowed. Surprisingly seafood were also signed as glutein affected meal. Asking the waiter to clarify this, maybe that would be a mistake, he felt our inquiries as a scoff did not get the point that paying not attention of intolerancy may bring heavy stomach disease for the involved person. Finally and sarcasticly he offered a salad bowl as a lunch! 4. Mess at the terasse Some hotel guests are really disgusting. Unfortunately we had to suffer from 2 families who were relatives, and made a huge mess on the table and under the table every time. It is a shame of them, no acceptance at all, but not making up the table’s enviroment after their „performance” is a complain for the restaurant’ staff. Happened once that the signs of evening mess was still visible next day breakfast time. For me these are the points which are not accepted, and can be solved with a minimum efforts. If it is solved, a stay in Hotel Medora Auri would be a really calming and relaxing holiday.

The Medora Auri Family Beach Resort is the epitome of a perfect family getaway. With its superb location, excellent amenities, and outstanding service, it provides an ideal setting for creating cherished family memories. We highly recommend this hotel to any family looking to enjoy the beauty of Podgora and surrounding towns in a welcoming and luxurious environment. We sure would like to mention in this review hotel staff like Ankica C and Lara who were there to help us feel welcome every time we entered the restaurant or any other part of the hotel. We can’t wait to return!

It’s a good hotel, good quality for this price (we paid only 1300 eur for 1 week). Very good breakfast and dinner, very big and good choice of food In general nice staff (very nice lady in the entrance of restaurant during dinner, always with smile). Nice reception staff always willing to help. Very nice housekeeping team and animators, especially two boys and Ivana, who are has a perfect flow with children and love their job! Rooms are ok, but we booked sea view room, and it was only partial sea view! So it’s not professional at all! The hotel send many emails before arrival, but after not all agreed things are done Very good kids pool area that is separate from main pool From the minus especially one girl from restaurant (Anelia or smth like this), it seems that someone make her to work there, never has smile, always the face like just ate the lemon! Not helpful, even if you ask to make a table, she doesn’t care at all! The other problem are beach team, it’s a disinter, don’t know why they are working there (if it us possible to say they do so). Just going around doing nothing. One day was so windy that umbrellas starting to fly on a beach, on the water, to the promenade near the restaurant. And they did nothing, even didn’t try to help and take those fallen umbrellas, but hotel guest did Pool a bit old, and very small for those number of guests In SPA on reception a girl wasn’t able to speak English, it was impossible to agree anything, so we just left (but we were interested in massage) The hotel is not bad, with very good potential, but some stuff of the hotel do not make is a good quality 4**** hotel

This was our 2nd stay at the Modora Auri in Podgora and we loved it just as much as our 1st visit. Podgora at end-May is a peaceful spot with good weather and amazing sunsets mostevenings. The hotel is modern and clean with good facilities. We particularly enjoyed its pool, its closeness to the beach, its location at the end of the village, its restaurant (good food every night) and its lobby bar with balcony. All the hotel staff we encountered were helpful and friendly; those who deserve a special mention are the restaurant cooks (Anita, Vesela, Josip M and Matej B), the restaurant staff (especially the 2 senior ladies), the maid who serviced our room (312B) and the young lady who works in the travel shop. They all enhanced our stay and are a credit to the hotel. We look forward to returning. Whilst there, we did a trip to beautiful Dubrovnik, using the bus (D8) which stops on the main road above the hotel so is really convenient. Best to book in advance (we used GetByBus) if you want to ensure a seat on the bus.

Great hotel location. Most rooms have a sea view. Our second room in the main building, directly on the beach. (a family of 5 divided into two different buildings. In both of them you can listen to the sound of the waves. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The rooms are cleaned every day, including changing towels, refilling gel, lotion, tea and coffee. The service is both cleaning, in the restaurant, in the parking lot (before entering ) and the reception is very nice. Kindness and friendliness are the dominant features of the employees, especially the receptionist Daniil G. The swimming pool is cleaned every day, regardless of the weather. There is a gym with a shower available , towels available. Free towels to use at the swimming pool or on the beach. Beach right next to the hotel, with free sun loungers (also by the pool). (they were there earlier). The restaurant has a very large selection of meat, fish, vegetables and various types of additions. For breakfast every day, there are eggs in various forms, pancakes, warm croissants, various breads, vegetables, yogurts, cereals, fruit, cakes, and cold meats (these are weak). quality), cheese, fish and some hot dishes, e.g. boiled vegetables, sausages in various forms, fish, etc. Unlimited cold and hot drinks. For dinner, pasta with additions, meat, fish, soups, potatoes in various forms, hot and cold vegetables, rice with additions, cold salads, bread and side dishes - cheese, fish, etc. A large selection of cakes and desserts as well as fruit and ice cream . Drinks - nectars, carbonated drinks, wine and beer without limits for everyone. There were no hot drinks for dinner. Everything completed until the very end. Large crowds of people start serving dinner, so it's worth going later. Probably because of the late start time. You can also choose to eat on one of the three terraces with a beautiful view of the sea and neighboring islands. The cleanliness of the entire hotel is impeccable. There is live music in the lobby bar on weekends, a playroom and animations for children. I highly recommend this hotel due to its location, service and amenities. The only downside is that it is located in the side buildings - when it rains you have to walk through the manor to the restaurant, gym and playrooms (during nice weather this is not a problem.
