Best Western Plus Bolingbrook

I called Bolingbrook Illinois location directly 3 times. No answer, no voice box. I then called the National phone number, spoke with a representative who knew very little about additional fees or taxes, he did not answer questions about differences in pricing of the rooms. I signed up for rewards to get the lowest rate. When we arrived to the hotel, front desk had 3 people there, and a manager (male), stated that my $108 charge for the room had an additional $250 fee to hold for an overnight stay. He claimed that it's posted on the website. It's not. I told him that my family of 4 will not trash his room , we are staying overnight on the way to Chicago for a graduation ceremony. He charged me $50 extra . Issues with the hotel: 1. Filthy, sticky floors, my cover for the bed had cigarette burned holes in it. 2. Only 2 towels in a room, I had to go get more towels for 4 people in our room. "Clean" towels had long black hairs on them. 3. There is no microwave in the room. Only downstairs. 4. Tile in the bathroom is cracked, sink in the bathroom is cracked . Poor water pressure. 5. The hallway on our 3 floor stunk of smoke and ****. 6. Pool closed. 7. Breakfast was disgusting. 8. Morning staff at the front desk dressed inappropriately, played on the phone while my husband tried to check out, they gave him nasty looks, did not even say good morning, chewed gum and did not speak a word. Unprofessional, poor customer service. 9. People are smoking right by the front doors of the hotel. 10. Parking lot was so bad, the potholes everywhere. Needless to say, we will never get back to this hell hole. Don't waste your money.

They said They have Breakfast. In the morning the breakfast staff didn't show up. And management too lazy put out breakfast by them selfs. And they was not even sorry for that... Never coming Back to this Property. Staff not Friendly at all...

Everything I came for I didn't receive. Reserved two queen beds ended up with one king and an uncomfortable let out couch. Online said the pool was open, that was a lie. The breakfast was cold. The light switch didn't work, only the small lamp by the bed did.

Recently stayed with our family of 6 for 1 night. Pool was closed and TV kept lagging and glitching for hours due to a storm (they must have satellite tv). Sat in hotel room all evening with 4 kids with NOTHING to do. Hotel is clean and rooms nice but the location is awful and has a busy expressway in front and large vacant lot behind it. There are cute shops and malls with restaurants more north in Bolingbrook and nice restaurants and attractions such as Bowlero and Scene 75 in Romeoville- stay around there! There is NOTHING around this hotel!

To be called a Best Western Plus is a sham and a charade. The parking lot is filthy, there were ********* joints on the floor outside our room, the wash cloth was so thin you could see through it and we had to wake the desk clerk up to check out after 7 am. He was asleep in a chair in front of the fake fireplace. Definitely not worth the money. And management, look at the other complaints. Your apologies are pure crap since you are utterly inaffective or incapable of addressing issues that have repeatedly been identified. If you want to stay at a failing place, this one is for you. Otherwise, go elsewhere

Although the lodging was decent the “hot” breakfast was a fail. They stated that breakfast is served from 7 am to 10 am however when we arrived at approximately 9:25 am the breakfast options were limited to 7 small packages of dry cereal, 5 sausage links, and 6 sausage patties. This is our first and last time staying at a BW where as other similarly priced hotels offer the same feature/benefits but hold true to what they advertise as opposed to this hotel.

This location is very clean, fresh and new feeling. I was happy with the room the breakfast and it's in a great location right off the highway. Usually I stick to something grab and go like bagels and cream cheese but the eggs and sausage looks so appetizing I decided to try them and was very pleasantly surprised.

At check in the front desk guy asked about our fear of dying. Noise all night long sounded like a cult outside. Pool areas was freezing as well as the temperature of the pool. Breakfast was also cold.

Manger was rude, reservations were messed up and you may or may not get breakfast. Room had really bad patch jobs on the walls. No microwave in the room and the front desk said that was not guaranteed. Hair dryers were a crap shoot as well. The lobby smelled and the outside was disgusting. We left 2 days early because it was so bad and they billed me for the 2 days. calling corporate to see what they can do about this.
