Rooms were clean and comfortable. There would not be someone at the front desk sometimes which was unfortunate, but still a good hotel experience.

When we walked in, the receptionist was extremely friendly. The check in process was quick. The room was very clean, and comfortable. It was a great experience and definitely a place we’ll stay again

Room was nice and front desk lady was lovely. Only complaint was, as others have mentioned, the overwhelming smell of stale cigarettes and **** in the hallway. It punches you in the face as you walk in, and permeates into the room. It is still in my nostrils six hours after leaving. Luckily, the lobby and breakfast area were not affected, and we enjoyed our coffee, eggs and waffles.

Other people reviewed this hotel saying smelled of smoke and ****. It DID NOT. Got a room as a walk in. Great deal by the way, if you are medical, fire,LEO ask for a discount. I got a discount and was very appreciative. Room is clean, does not smell and has a working heater. All pluses in my book. Bed was clean and appears comfortable. If it’s not, I will edit my post. Stayed here for under $100 and I’m not disappointed

The property and room were very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue was the bathroom sink had terrible water pressure and a very slow drain.
This hotel is overall a good value.

As a woman traveling alone I didn't like having a room that required me to park out back and schlep my luggage down the sidewalk, unlock an exterior, and lug it up the stairs. Single women should be assigned to rooms safely accessible from the lobby. Also, when I made my reservation I reuested a king size bed and was given a room with two queen beds. I didn't bother to request a move because I was only staying one night, but why was I allowed to choose my room if nobody was going to pay attention to my request?

Super friendly staff! Very accommodating! Bed was super comfortable- room was dated and bath tub was needing some talc. Overall not a bad place- the free breakfast was a great bonus! Was not a bad drive to Virginia Tech- super conveniently located off of I-81-
