The hotel was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly, the room was cozy but spacious and very clean. Everything was well laid out and there was free water in the room on arrival which was a godsend. Would highly recommend this hotel. The location is great with easy access to city centre via bus or walking.

Stayed 3 days at the hotel. Generally, everything is good. The front desk staffs averse queries you might have and are seriously lacking in charm. Except for an elderly gentleman staff at the front desk. He was the only front desk staff member who genuinely enjoyed his work. It is a great hotel chain, maybe can provide more front desk training. Rooms are clean and spacious.

The room was subpar, and Ctrip helped coordinate a refund. It's not worth it for Chinese tourists. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in; I can't believe it's a so-called "four-star" hotel. Its service and facilities are even worse than a budget hostel, extremely inhumane, and have serious integrity issues: • Extremely irresponsible cleaning service and shirking responsibility: This is the most infuriating point. We specifically hung up the "I'm out" sign when we left at 10 am, but when we returned, we found that the staff had secretly flipped it to "I'm in," and the room hadn't been cleaned at all. The hotel not only refused to admit their negligence but also blamed it on the guests, claiming we hadn't hung the sign correctly. From 10 am to 3 pm before the peak check-in time, there was ample time for cleaning, but they chose to ignore it and lie. • Serious safety hazards: The most outrageous thing is that the room door couldn't be locked! As a four-star hotel, it fails to guarantee even the most basic guest safety, making it impossible to sleep peacefully in the room. The hotel's disregard for safety is bordering on criminal. • Extremely poor living conditions: The room not only lacks windows, but the air conditioning is also broken, resulting in extremely stuffy and polluted indoor air. The soundproofing is abysmal; any noise in the corridor is deafening, making it impossible to rest. • Summary: Three-star level, like in a county town.

I’ve stayed in this hotel twice in the last three months, each time for five nights on business. I can only describe this hotel as basic. The staff mostly appear unhappy in their roles and smiles are rare. On both occasions that I stayed, the welcome was courteous but cold, certainly not friendly and welcoming. The only exception to this was an older gentleman who helps at breakfast. The rooms are fine, though I found the beds (on both stays) uncomfortable. The rooms were very clean and had water, coffee sachets and tea bags provided (though replenishing milk pots was missed on a few days). Being a business traveller, I needed to use the iron provided in the room. That was an experience I’d rather not go through again. Breakfast looked much better than it tasted. For the price charged for the hotel room I would have expected better quality overall. I would suggest the hotel’s manager visits another hotel and tastes their breakfast and (s)he will see what I mean. There’s a pretty good offering, volume-wise, but the quality was poor overall. I didn’t have breakfast after the first two mornings, choosing instead to eat at our staff canteen. Given how poor breakfast was, I decided to order in most nights, rather than eat in the hotel restaurant, so buying what appeared to be cheap breakfast ingredients may cost the hotel when it comes to guests choosing where to eat for dinner. The hotel’s location is good if you’re going to a local event but it’s a bit of a trek if you want to go out in the city centre. In summary, a relatively comfortable hotel but it’s a shame everyone who works there seem so unhappy; I think that rubs off on the guests too. Will I be staying again? Not if I can help it.

We arrived at the hotel just after 12 noon and they had a room ready for us, which was a great surprise. The room had everything you could need for your stay and was lovely and clean. We had lunch in the restaurant, the food was quick to arrive, and very tasty, the member of staff that served us was the highlight. He was so accommodating and very friendly, he even double checked to make sure my meal was Gluten free, unfortunately I didn’t get his name. Nothing was too much trouble. Only a 20 minute walk to the city centre. We would stay here again.
