Quiet and clean - checked both boxes of our requirements. Nice place for a one night stay prior to visiting the Field of Dreams movie site in nearby Dyersville, Iowa. Very friendly front desk staff also! Hotel was recently refurbished and looks very nice. Ample and easy parking. Nice restaurants in walking distance and historic Main Street location. Highly recommend!

This was a positive experience. The hotel is undergoing renovation but does seem fully functional. Our room seemed a little quirky in that it was arranged fairly different from most hotel suites. Still it worked very well for us. It was very comfortable. The hotel does not include breakfast but it does have a good restaurant. You can choose between a very good buffet or order off the menu. I was a little hesitant when we first drove up to the hotel. Like many cities, the downtown does feel in decline, but we felt very safe in the hotel and same for our car in the lot. I would stay there again.

Garbage all over the parking area. Network cables hanging all over in hallways. TV didn't work and the staff wasn't helpful at all in addressing the situation. The first shift staff was polite and helpful. I have stayed here several times before and didn't have issues.

This hotel is very outdated! It is a pet friendly hotel and our room had an animal odor…there was water damage to the wall and the curtains were falling off the window!
We appreciate that they are attempting to renovate but will not return until it’s complete.
