The Rose Cottage B&B

Lovely stay at rose cottage, very comfortable! Nice location; comfortable and thank goodness for the electric blankets! It was chilly! Delish breakfast!

We were kept informed beforehand of when and where to pick up the keys, instructions and directions very clear. The establishment was clean and welcoming, tea and coffee and even rusks supplied. Our daughter and her fiancee were upstairs in Rhapsody in Blue as we were looking at wedding venues. The cottage was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious and at a pretty location. Very good value for money.

Very cosy accommodation with a delicious breakfast included that was the highlight of our stay. Bed was SUPER comfortable and we were even treated with a delicious filter coffee in the fridge! We will be back!

Amazing restaurant on the way to the Kruger from Johannesburg. Stopped here several times with my guests, as I am a tour guide. Appreciated, fast and kind. Preorder advised, if travelling in groups.

What a wonderful stay. We sadly only spent one night, but will definitely return next time. The host communicated with us clearly and professionally. The cottage is well-equipped with everything you will need and more. Property is safe and secure. Bed is comfy with electric blanket for cold, winter Dullstroom. The breakfast was delicious. The cottage is located close to everything. The quint town is perfect for a cozy getaway.

Staying at the Rose Cottage was a great experience. The location was quite peaceful and serene. The room was well furnished and clean. The breakfast was also excellent. Wished we could have stayed longer

Very well appointed suite of rooms, all amenities available, except a generator! But gas cooker and paraffin lights available for the ever present loadshedding. Some of the furnishings need upgrading e.g. on the patio. Well positioned, close to main street, yet very peaceful.

Not impressed at all. We booked at Rose Cottages because the pictures on the website looked like we'll appointed and cost rooms. They were anything but. We were put in Champagne Moments room. The first thing that greeted us was a dirty carpet followed by dirty pillow cases and a stained duvet. Bearing in mind we were there in winter we discovered the front door has a large gap underneath which of course allowed for the cold air to come in. I plugged this with a not so clean towel from the bathroom but it didn't help cause cold still came in through the other gaps around the door. Very ill fitted door. Electric blanket only worked on one side of the bed. Skirting boards around the room were filthy. I spoke to the cleaning lady and asked if the firewood would be replaced. There is enough firewood to burn for about half an hour. There is a sign next to fireplace that says wood would be replaced daily but she told me no it's only given once during your trip. No manager in sight even when we went for breakfast twice. She didn't bother going around the tables to check on people or ask them about their stay. Definitely won't be going back there
