I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Essencia in Dumaguete for a family getaway, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we checked in until our departure, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We booked the family room for our five-day, four-night stay, and it was perfect for our needs. The room was spacious and well-maintained, featuring a comfortable king-size bed and a single bed which were ideal for our family of three. The linens were fresh and the room was cleaned daily to a high standard. One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary breakfast. Each morning, we were treated to a variety of choices (buffet) all of which were delicious and well-prepared. The dining area was pleasant, and the staff were always attentive and friendly, making our meal times extra enjoyable. The hotel's location is also a major plus, situated centrally in Dumaguete, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and local attractions. We appreciated the convenience and found several good restaurants and shops within walking distance. Additionally, the hotel offered free WiFi that was reliable throughout our stay, allowing us to plan our daily outings and stay connected without any issues. Overall, our stay at Hotel Essencia was fantastic. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and great amenities like the complimentary breakfast made it a memorable experience. Just need some renovation and for some unknown reason one of the elevators hasn’t worked for over a year. owner please your elevator. one elevator is not enough for a hotel with that many rooms. this morning there were hundreds of people going to the lobby from a group walking down many flights of stairs.  how is it that the elevator can be broken for one year???

The hotel is clean. The room is bigger than other hotels we had stayed in Dumaguete. Room rate is worth it and with free breakfast. We walked back to the hotel from a stroll at the boulevard. Have a soothing and relaxing massage at the spa located inside the hotel before heading to bed.
