The rooms were clean on first glance. The wash basin in the bathroom was baddly cracked, obviously a health hazard, and the underside of the handwash dispenser hadn't been cleaned for weeks! The room was comfortable but lacked cupbord storage space.

Really quiet overnight looking out onto a grassy area with its own rabbit. Friendly staff who gave us information on places to go. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, temperature was just right and easy parking.

Avoid this hotel unless desperate. It is far from Dumfries centre and if you need food or drink you will need to travel 2 miles into town or to supermarkets. Beware compound car park as it contains many suspension killing potholes.

Hotel was pleasant, clean and reception/ check in very easy with a friendly knowledgeable staff member. For what we wanted to do the hotel was located ok, short drives to the areas we wanted to go to. The room although clean perhaps a little dated and not enough sockets. Overall we would stay here again.

It was what it was but next time I’m back I’ll be using the other place. Wasn’t impressed no proper breakfast but that could be me not reading small print. Wi Fi only covers 2 people and we were a family of 3 so I had no WiFi

The room had mould, chair was ripped, tiles in toilet had mould. Bath had several chips, plug holes in sink was rusty. Wood at top of toilet obviously had water damage & hinge on door was rusty. Overall if we hadn't booked because we had to attend a funeral I would have made moved. Room very very tired

No issue, surrounding road entry had large pot holes. Hotel is basically clean & tidy, value forss. money. Free Wifi could be increased beyond 30 minute

Always great here. Clean, comfortable and the staff are great. The place is quiet, with easy access to food across the way (Greggs and Starbucks). It is in a good spot with ease of access to the many places around Dumfries for shopping and sightseeing. Good value.

Based upon price. This hotel was ok. Room clean and plenty of space bed comfy. The car park could do with a tidy up. It is on a main road, but was not noisey. The staff were excellent, friendly and did all they could to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
