Old Churches House

What a strange place! I was sent a code this morning to access the building. It's deserted. Feels like an escape room! Bed is totally squishy with a tired mattress. Walls with stains on them. Bathroom is clean and functional. The room is apparently an upgrade! It is on ground floor. One window does not open and the other won't stay open (not that I would feel safe leaving it open on the ground floor). The housekeeping trolley is in the corridor and there is a note in the room telling us to help ourselves if we want anything. Bizarre and not very nice.

Amazing place to stay,straight across from Cathedral,handy for all restaurants and places of interest,I come to dunblane often and always stay here,I was upgraded to king room so very comfortable and a very quiet area to stay,highly recommended

Simple auotmated check in. Clean comfy room.

The property was situated in a very nice area of Dunblane opposite the Cathedral. Entry was by a keypad and we didn’t see anyone during our stay. Plenty of tea and coffee provided for the room. The room could have done with a freshen up with paint especially the radiator. We had a nice stay at a reasonable price.

Perfect location, couldn’t ask for more. Hotel needs a lot of TLC

Great location, hotel needs a lot of TLC. No change of towels, no bins emptied, no person to talk to.

There was no breakfast available despite this being offers on the ******* site and there are no staff on site to deal with any questions. I booked this because my previous visit 2 years ago was very satisfactory.

Stayed in room 10 2nd night:- In the evening when we went out, we couldn’t lock our room door. Tried a number of times, in the ned had to leave room unlocked. The next morning 14th tried to call the “emergency duty manager” at 09.30 hrs but no one answered. Left a message about the lock problem. Then rang the reservations number, But no one answered To this day no one has contacted us. Fortunately there was a housekeeper on site changing a room. She helped us by contacting maintenance who came and repaired the room lock Every night we were disturbed by creaking floorboards in room above every time people moved around. In morning woken by creaking floorboards. And when the above rooms shower was used it sounded like a bucket being filled from a hose in our room. Breakfast available for a fee - Doesn’t exist Free self-parking on site - Doesn’t exist. Free off-site parking is on the road outside or a carpark 100yds away. There is no bar. The restaurant / bar was closed a year ago. None of the guest services exist. All the outdoor areas are closed off. There is no communal areas or TV in lobby.
