The Old Railway Station

We stayed in the Pullman King and it was lovely, there was a large bathroom with bath and shower which were spotless. The bed was really comfortable and the whole carriage was spacious and clean. Plenty of tea coffe etc. only recommendation would be a higher table so u could sit and eat without bending over. Breakfast in the restaurant was fresh and tasty with lots of nice touches. Would love to stay here again. Would also recommend Badgers pub down the road a 2 minute walk.

A really superb small hotel. Staying in a railway carriage was a truly unique and wonderful experience. The carriages are well laid out and well equipped. We arrived when it was -5 degrees, so the room was a little cooler than we would have liked, but there were plenty of radiators to add heat. Breakfast was amazing and taken in a stunning old waiting room with a roaring fire. Staff were excellent too!

Excellent large en-suite room. Very Quiet. Big TV, big comfy bed, couple of good chairs The Upper Room at the station rather than a carriage. Large en-suite with walk-in in power shower. Great breakfast, individually ordered and served. 2 minutes walk from the pub with good, reasonably priced food for dinners. A short drive from Petworth Town and about half an hour or so from Arundel and Chichester. Pleasant helpful staff.

Where do I begin? We absolutely loved our stay here. The carriage we had was delightful. The bed was so comfortable, the layout so well thought out. The shower was fantastic! Breakfast in the waiting room 😋 nothing was to much trouble for the staff, who were so helpful. Thankyou for a wonderful experience ✨️

A fantastic place to spend a relaxing 24 hours with such nostalgic buildings & carriage! Beautifully restored! The afternoon tea was very generous & the breakfast amazing! Staff were efficient & friendly. We thoroughly recommend a relaxing time here, regardless of the weather, ( which was very wet!)

My partner has always wanted to stay in a Pullman Train Carriage and this gem of a hotel did not disappoint, it is amazing - It was my partners birthday, and thus a surprise, from the moment she turned up to arranging a birthday cake, and a card (which I thought was a great touch) to the accomodation and the warm and friendly staff, nothing was too much bother, she was very overwhelmed, with it all and then when stepping into the carriage, I was the best Partner ever!, the breakfast was good, we both had the vegetarian options, and the fresh fruit was lovely - we stayed for 2 nights, and the next day booked an afternoon tea which was also amazing - all in all a great birthday weekend, and my partner is still riding high on this amazing find - we were told that a carriage is being renovated as a dining car, and available in the summer, we cannot wait ! I wanted to thank all the team and the manager who made my partners birthday so special

Lovely staff . Great accommodation . Security could be improved . Beautiful breakfast room and great staff and breakfast . You will struggle to maintain the beautiful carriages but thank you for a wonderful experience . X

We had wanted to mark a special birthday by staying somewhere different and this certainly met the brief. We very much enjoyed the Montana carriage equipped with surprisingly large bed and both bath and shower. We had ordered afternoon tea which we had soon after arrival. This was lovely and served in the beautiful waiting room part of the station building. It was so quiet overnight and we slept very well before enjoying an excellent breakfast back in the station house. Parking was a breeze too with us getting in overnight right in front of the main building. Definitely recommended in this attractive part of Sussex.

Just got back from a night away at this place and wow it’s fantastic from the moment we checked in until we left Jenny who looked after us was fantastic in everything she done nothing was too much trouble We had an afternoon tea when we arrived and that was lovely everything fresh Went to local pub badgers ( 2 min walk away ) for New Year’s Eve which was great lovely food and wine The carriage we stayed in Montana was amazing luxurious all the way bed comfy very clean bath shower etc all fantastic Can’t wait to book again Thanks jenny for looking after us
