Dunhuang Moshanghua Theme Inn (Dunhuang Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring Branch) Reviews

This is a very good place to stay while in Dunhuang. It's close to one of the big roads from which you can take a bus to Mogao Caves and not far from desert either. It's quite hard to find, you have to go to the park on the opposite of the temple and then go to the shopping road across the park. The host is very helpful, she helped us arrange a group day tour to Yumen Pass, the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty, 1000 Buddha Caves and much more (it was a fantastic tour) for a very reasonable price. The room was quite nice - there was a big bed, small table, nice bathroom and good lighting. It was also nice and tidy and cleaned daily. I'd recommend other staying here and would definitely come back another time.

Hotel is not located where it is on the map. Is back in a complex close to the intersection. Room was dirty and ran down. The air conditioner has been installed bizarrely and drains into a bottle into the room (with constant tripping noise) rather than being plumbed through the wall. Beds are hard as a rock and our room faced into an internal corridor so it was very light and noisy at night. Staff were relatively friendly.

Normal room with bathroom with hot water. Very convenient location with excellent restaurant right in front of hotel. But most important- really kind and helpful owners, who were always there to help make your stay a relaxing one. They helped with airport transport at good price and also let us late check-out at a reasonable rate. The hotel is located at the second floor at the second row of buildings coming from the parking. You can walk until the dunes.

This hotel is around 10’ walk to the main entrance of Mingsha. There are many restaurants around. The room is small but value is good. Very clean. It’s difficult to get in touch with the owner because s/he didn’t answer the phone. I had a hard time to find this hotel at first so had to ask people to find the hotel.

The location is nice, good for the kids and not far from the ticket office and the popular area of the desert. There are good bbq restaurants just a few steps away and a convenience store just downstairs. However, the service is poor, we stayed 3 nights and they didn't clean the room or bothered to take the garbage away, we had to leave it at the door. Just in front of our window there was a folk bar and they sang outside using a microphone almost till midnight.

The boss is very enthusiastic and the room is neat and clean. I am very happy about this trip.

The last stop of Zhejiang's self-driving Northwest Great Ring Road, a very pleasant stay, convenient parking, clean and hygienic. It’s also convenient to walk to the middle gate of Mingsha Mountain. There are many special delicacies downstairs, and my wife and daughter were also very satisfied with the flying photos taken in the "Nayu Flower Room" downstairs of the B&B. Bargaining cantaloupes on the roadside for four for ten yuan, super sweet!

I stayed in the inn for two consecutive nights. You can hang clothes on the roof. The sanitary conditions are good. The owner is friendly. It is close to the scenic spot and very convenient to go out.

The inn is just at the foot of Mingsha Mountain, only 1 km away, very convenient. Maybe it's the off-season, the room is very quiet and comfortable to stay in. I've been to Tianshui, Lanzhou, Wuwei, Zhangye, Jiayuguan, and this is the best. The boss is also very nice and helped me book the Dunhuang West Line itinerary, which is great

The room was clean and well-equipped, and the boss personally helped us move our suitcases! The address is in Crescent Town, about 10 minutes' walk from the gate of the scenic spot, very convenient!

Close to the scenic spot, reasonable price, internal windows and sound insulation are not good

There are few people in the off-season, and the boss came out to pick us up when we arrived. The hotel seems to have no heating, and the boss turned on the air conditioner to warm the room for us in advance. There is an electric blanket on the bed, so it doesn't feel cold at night. The only drawback is that the water is not very hot at night, and the pillow seems a little dirty. If you want to stay near Mingsha Mountain to watch the sunrise, this is a very good choice, highly recommended 👍👍👍

Clean and hygienic, reasonably priced, close to the scenic spot, and convenient for eating nearby. The hotel has a good service attitude. I asked to check out at 12:00 because I had something to do and I couldn't leave for the time being. However, after discussing with the front desk, I delayed the check out at 14:00 for free. Thank you very much ! First choice next time!
