Amazing spot! Right in the hub of all the life in Durango! Great parking. The hotel itself was part of the visits fun. We walked around one night looking for something to do, but around 8PM things tend to close down in Durango but it turns out the hotel had to fun we were looking for. We walked back to the hotel and heard lively ragtime piano music coming from the hotels connected saloon. We walked in, found a chair, and cheered along with the rest of the crowd enjoying the music and stories of Adam Swanson.

This hotel is a gem of the old west. The hotel is in basically perfect shape with beautiful wood work and fantastic wallpaper. It is not a Hilton. Bathrooms are small but nice beds comfortable. The hotels restaurants are not up to standard better places locally. If you like historic dont miss this one

Absolutely love this hotel its so beautiful and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. At check in i had requested a room with a bath tub. They immediately found us a different room with a tub. And they also provided a mini fridge and microwave....so awesome!!!!
