Very comfortable rooms, super gym and excellent breakfast. Best of all were the staff, upon arrival we met Justin who was a breath of fresh air. Free welcoming drinks is a great idea. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night and wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again. Just for the record since 2017 we’ve sTayed in over 1000 hotels around the United States and it’s rare for us to do a review

Lovely room, great layout, very comfortable bed, and notable for small things sometimes missing (USB ports or outlets accessible from the bed, storage for a large suitcase, adequate seating and lighting). The location is a bit outside downtown, but also puts you closer to some beautiful areas for hiking and scenic drives (Twin Buttes is just down the street, and Lake Nighthorse isn't too far away either). Durango itself is well worth a visit, because you'll find l kinds of things to do both for urban explorers and lovers of the outdoors, so this made a good base for both.

The hotel is a two-minute drive to town and to the Durango Train Station. The property is surrounded by trees and even though it is near the road that comes into the town, I didn't notice the noise while I was in the hotel room. Great breakfast and friendly staff.

Date of our stay, 09/02 and 09/03/2022 Best Western hotels are one of our favorite places to stay. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the location was convenient to all attractions and restaurants. Recommend and would stay here again.

This is a great place in a quiet area of town but only a mile or two from great restaurants and things to do. Large rooms with a backyard area to sit and watch birds in the woods or stare at the stars. Bed was comfy and shower was good.

Booked a two room suite for a two night stay. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Location is very close to downtown but not within walking distance. Breakfast was suitable but not great. Air Conditioning was not working in our bedroom area. Made it much less comfortable than it could have been. This is an exterior entry property without elevators. Suggest requesting first floor foom.

Not a great property. Needed a stay for 3 nights and space was sufficient for that purpose but wouldn’t be a destination lodging. Breakfast was not very appetizing and we only ate there once over 3 mornings.

Great location for easy travel to the Durango train station, Mesa Verde, river rafting and downtown durango. Good food with eggs and sausage, yogurt and fresh fruit, pool and hot tub, clean, hotel staff helpful with directions. Quiet with comfortable beds.

Me and my family reserved two nights but didn’t actually arrive until 5:30am the 2nd day. We had a rough drive up with a sick teenager. We checked out the that afternoon by 1:40pm and we’re told they would only charge for one night and a $20 late check-out fee. I thought great and we received a receipt in my email. Only for the front desk to call me and tell me her system wouldn’t let her check me out completely. She wasn’t supposed to do a late check out and the cleaning ladies are gone for day and can’t clean room to re-sell. However, cleaning ladies were still there when we left. We spent a total of 8 hours in the room to be charged two full nights. This is the Best Western at 21382 US Highway 60 in Durango, Co.
