My family had a wonderful stay at the Beach View. The host, Dave, was welcoming and wonderful. He had many great suggestions for dining and beaches. Staff was courteous and helpful. The resort is in a great location and very clean. The pools are amazing.

This is a wonderful hotel, the forethought that went into the planning and design is very obvious in each and every feature. Located opposite the delightfully peaceful and oh, so picturesque Payne's bay beach it caters for all aspects of a Caribbean holiday with charm, personality and integrity. We loved our Ylang Ylang villa, high ceilings, lounge area, kitchen, beautiful bedroom and ultra modern bathroom, all impeccably clean, decorated in an appealing local style and surrounded by well manicured, tropical gardens. The communication with Amanda at the time of booking was personal, friendly and efficient, it was replicated by other staff members during our stay, making us feel very welcome. We enjoyed time at the swimming pools, all are equipped with adequate sun loungers and umbrellas and the Sugar Apple restaurant is a very pleasant place to dine at any time of the day. We are sooooooo pleased we stayed at Beach View on our first visit to Barbados. We also really appreciated the reggae buses which took us to various places on the island and stop right outside the hotel. A fantastic time.

One of our favourite places to stay as a family. Understated, perfect location, family operated small boutique self catering accommodation. Pool is nice and the beach is a heaven. We stayed at a 3 bedroom unit with kitchen, living room and parking. I cannot rate higher on this gem. Staff are super friendly and the gentleman who runs (?) this place is very kind. My husband slipped his ankle on the beach due to high waves and had his leg swollen. They brought a wheelchair straight away and made sure they were all fine. The rooms are super spacious and clean. The property is well maintained and there is also a fitness centre which was so handy for me to burn all that fat from lovely food in Barbados :-) We would definitely come back here.

I couldn’t fault the Beach View Hotel! The apartment/suite, the Sugar Apple Cafe/restaurant, the gardens and pool areas were all excellent! All the staff were polite and friendly, especially important for a ‘mature’ solo traveller. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel!!

We loved Beach View. Some old world charm about the place, just what we wanted. Not too busy and a good location to explore the West side of the island. We'll be back.

We booked 5 weeks ago for November 24 but needed to cancel. Thought it was still worth reviewing the service provided as it will mean so much to people booking for the first time. We emailed the hotel/resort requesting a cancellation and within 30minutes the refund was processed into the original credit card! That is excellent service and we really hope we can actually stay later. Thank you Carrie for your efficient assistance and service!
