Red Roof Inn Durham - Duke University Medical Center

Pretty clean & quiet, safe area. We had fun! Wish the pool was clean/open, though. 😆

Hair on bed sheets

Roaches everywhere. My husband checked in and left within an hour.

I liked that it was next door to IHOP. The telephone did not work and I forgot report it. There was a blown bulb in the desk lamp. I liked that it was close to Duke as I had surgery the next day.

Worst hotel experience in my life! The staff was awful. Could not get me checked in even though I had the receipt for my prepaid room through *******. When they finally did get me a key, the room door was wide open. Nothing but a bare mattress in the room. After almost an hour they got me into another room where none of the lights worked except in the bathroom. Manager said he’d had similar complaints from other guests, but there was nothing he could do until morning when the maintenance man came in. I can’t wait to get the heck out of here and file a formal complaint with ******* a Red Roof inn.
