Great hotel with great food near Plazh station where the train currently terminated and an airport transfer during the wee hours is very helpful for me

I really liked the hotel. Great room, large and very comfortable. Very good breakfast with several typical foods and the basics too. Great service. It's a shame we only stayed for a short time and couldn't enjoy the hotel and the region. We arrived at almost 2am and were treated very well.

Those at the reception seemed uninterested and only a few spoke English. There were 3 of us in the room, but we only got 2 sunbeds. Crowded and noisy beach. The breakfast was ok, but it made us sick to our stomachs. The beds were fine, but the bathroom was dirty and the shower was loose. There were also no doors or curtains so the whole bathroom got wet after a shower.

The place is well located on the beach, but far from the center of Dürres, so I recommend a taxi if you are going there. Disappointing cleaning at the hotel, we had to ask for towels and toilet paper as it was not provided. After the first night and housekeeping, we thought they were clean towels, but the old ones were just folded and put back randomly, so we didn't know which towel was whose. The bathroom had mold stains.

Albanian service generally was difficult to get the hang of. Oftentimes, the people working the reception seemed very confused, and were watching videos on their phones or taking private calls while servicing you. Same goes for the waiters at the breakfast buffet, who seemed very indifferent and didn’t bother coming down to take our drink order; oftentimes, we would wait almost an hour for our morning coffee… The cleaning staff were super friendly, but forgot to bring new towels every day. The hotel room itself seemed strange; there was no shower curtain, so the entire bathroom seemed to be inflicted with fungus from being flooded with water. Also, the “beds” (one of which was a fold-out-chair) were very uncomfortable! And the breakfast buffet was almost inedible.
I think the hotel has some things to work on, but the intention seemed good - and their location was spot on!

Arrived at the hotel to be told there was a power cut. We waited 4 hours without air-con, lights or running water. Eventually decided to book a hotel in another city & as we left hotel the power came back on.
We were refused any sort of refund, even partial. Disappointed as hotel couldnt provide the service they advertised yet no hint of any compensation

Not the best experience for our first night in Albania. This might be the Riviera of Albania but this was not a four star hotel. We found the floor towels to be dirty, the rooms poorly finished, the shower area not functional as there is no curtain or screen. The initial Receptionist was helpful with sorting parking arrangements but the next ones were not helpful at all. Mostly due to difficulties in understanding each other but also didn’t seem happy to help. The views were ok and location good. Restaurant was average, breakfast cold and mostly inedible. Coffee, ummm nup, don’t bother.
