Great location, walking distance to the train station and main sights, but still in a quiet, residential area. The hotel has two buildings, so you might need to check in at a different one (just a 2-min walk). Would’ve been nice to have a fridge and kettle in the room, but otherwise it was comfy. I think I even got upgraded to a bigger room!

This hotel consists of two different buildings on opposite sides of the street. My room was in Lady Astor on the ground floor. It was mainly decorated in yellow and had a window looking into a garden. The room felt bright and fresh though it was a little dated. The room keys (actual keys) were somewhat hard to use. The bathroom is rather cramped and I actually had to turn sideways to get past the sink to the shower. The location is out of the way in a less nice area of Düsseldorf but it is a walkable distance to both the city centre and the railway station. Breakfast was passable but not great. This is a relatively inexpensive hotel and is decent enough.

Good neighbourhood
Nice hotel. Great location not far from city centre and next door to Little Tokyo, parking close to the hotel. WiFi poor signal in our room (basement) and tv not properly set with channels. Did not try the breakfast. A lot of options around Carlsplatz.

I am completely satisfied with my stay at this hotel, its quite vintage but the rooms are very comfortable. Everything is nearby, cafes, restaurants, museums and the train station so it is a very convenient location.

"I stayed for one night and had a great experience. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet and peaceful — perfect for a restful sleep. It had a little old charm to it but was very clean. Would definitely stay again for a short stay."

What I wish every hotel was
Genuinely my best hotel stay anywhere in Germany! Staff was very friendly and welcoming, the decoration is simple yet nice, the room is cozy, everything was perfectly clean. We didn't try the breakfast buffet, but it seemed nice and other guests appeared to be happy.
The location is great -- right at the edge of Japan town with excellent food options. The walk to the old city, where most the attractions are, is around 20 minutes. And the Central Station is less than 10 minutes away, making day trips easier.
