Holiday Inn Express Düsseldorf - Hauptbahnhof

I stayed at this hotel for three nights, and it was an extremely uncomfortable experience. I have a dust allergy throughout my stay I suffered from constant sneezing and allergic reactions on my face, which made the stay very difficult. Since the hotel operates with self check-in only, I also did not receive any proper information or guidance about the hotel facilities, which was very inconvenient. For two out of the three days, the housekeeping staff suddenly opened the door in the morning without knocking or announcing themselves. This is a basic rule in housekeeping, and I found it shocking that they entered the room without any notice. If we had been changing clothes, it could have been a serious issue. It felt like the staff had received absolutely no basic training. Additionally, every time the guests next door closed their door, the vibration and noise carried directly into our room. The window even shook, and the noise woke me up multiple times during the night. Even when housekeeping came to clean, the shampoo was not refilled, and the room was not cleaned properly. Overall, I would strongly not recommend this hotel.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room is trendy and clean. The breakfast is included with much variety and good quality. Very recommended

Hi! I recently stayed at your hotel and had such a pleasant experience. The ambience was amazing, the room had a great view, and everything felt so fresh and clean. The AC worked perfectly, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was spotless. I really appreciated the nice ventilation and the calm, refreshing smell in the room. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. I even found myself taking extra pictures because the place was just that beautiful! Thank you for such a wonderful stay I’d definitely love to come back.

Great location and clean, quiet hotel. Affordable too. Of note, there is not fridge to put leftovers. But otherwise breakfast was great and the hotel had what we needed. (Here is photo of view outside our hotel room)

Great location, easy car parking~ great breakfast. Worth the money you are paying :)
