Dusseldorf Stadtbezirk 1-Stadtmitte 3-star Hotels

as my ”regular” hotel in Dusseldorf was unusually expensive for my latest trip, I looked elsewhere and stumbled across the Premier Inn Friedrichstadt and was pleasantly surprised at just how good a hotel it is. If you are used to the Premier Inn hotel chain in the UK you know that you can expect a decent modern clean hotel. The german operation seems as good if not better - the Friedrichstadt hotel is very well located very close to the main Dusseldorf railway station but quiet and just far away enough . As well as easy access to trains and U bahn in the station there is also a tram stop right outside the hotel. Check in/out was professional, the lobby is nice and welcoming, the rooms as expected are spacious, modern and well equipped. Breakfast is available in a nice dining room in the lobby, parking is easy next door for 20 EUR for a full 24 hours. Even dedicated parking space for Premier Inn guests. Well worth it. Overall a great stay and I will definitely go back to this hotel. Recommended

room, location is great my stay was perfect especially a warm welcome when I arrived. the receptionist saw me tired from walking under the cold, instead of asking passport but offered me a bottle of water.. lovely.. and other staffs at breakfast were excellent service mind. cheers Hampton Dusseldorf :)

Nearby the city, the hotel is amazing: not too expensive, not far from the city, nice room, a bar open almost 24/7 and a very good breakfast. Particular attention to two frontdesks who are just polite with the customers (pity).

While bookong a marriott i had some expactations. But Moxy was something else. Positive, Rooms are clean and bathroom spacious enough Hotel in general is clean and looks quite new Vibe is very trendy and there is a nice bar at the lobby. Not so positive, Breakfast is a line what you go woth your tray. This will get super crowded. Cutlery is from the closest prison. But the selection is ok and food was good. There is some sent in the whole hotel. If you have allergy fir parfumes. I would not suggest. Sent is everywhere. Two boys made my checkin and they where also feeling the trend vibe. And not in a good way. They need to be sent to customer service school. Otherwise all the ladys have been great! Good basic hotel with a trendy update

Hotel very centrally located, great place to stay at for a short city trip. Room very clean, bed extremely comfortable. City centre within walking distance. Room was quite large. Amenities - all you need for a short trip.

The hotel is pretty new so rooms and all areas look nice and fresh. The family rooms with the bunk beds work pretty well, although they are not very spacious. The hotel is quite a walk to the city centre. Approximately 30 minutes to the river. There are tram and train stations relatively close by though. Parking is 20 Euros per night, which is not cheap given the location. Breakfast was nothing special, although the breakfast area was big with no queuing when we visited. Reception and housekeeping seemed pretty disorganised. Overall, it was ok, but I was expecting a better experience.

Not much to say here beyond practiced thievery. However, I am treating this experience as a lesson to allow these types of antiquated and subpar establishments die the slow death their proprietors seems to wish for. I actually did not check in till nearly 5:30pm. First move was to go to my antique closet with a large, actual key. ( how quaint!). Open my tablet to connect and experienced terrible wifi. Tried repeatedly as I am a technology Support Specialist, so I do not immediately jump to conclusions. The young man at the desk kindly rebooted their router and had me try again. Slightly better results for all of a minute. An owner/manager then “tested” the connection “just fine” yet it is still unclear if she was solely on wifi or cellular and cant tell the difference. I could see they were not going to acknowledge the issue and began inferring it was my device. I let them kmow Ive been on the road for seven weeks including wild areas of north Portugal with no issues whatsoever, so I asked for my cash refund so I could look elsewhere. THIS is when the gypsy style haggling began. Initially they only wanted to refund me half of my payment because I used the room. I pulled out a chair and sat in it. Nothing else in the room was even touched. Covid excuses came up, room cant be sold now, all deflections, although I do believe that they believe in the pandemic theatre. I could not get them to budge from 2/3 of my initial payment, so that third has now gone to my education and also bought them an accurate review here. Money well spent. Do not create more hassle in your travel lives by trying to save twenty to thirty dollars a night and giving these dying breeds of hotels a benefit of the doubt.

The location was good, not far away from the train station. But at night at 3p.m., there were some gangsters outside making noise and loud music. I have called the front desk to ask if it is possible to call the police but the front desk answer was no, there was nothing they can do. We could only change to another room, but at 3 p.m. wearing pyjama, we really didn't want to change anymore... Also, there was no airconditioning so it was extremly hot, that's why we opened our window but the noise outside was horrible

We go 3-4 times a year to Düsseldorf. It was the first (and not the last) time we stayed in Lindenhof hotel. The lady at the reception was very friendly as well when we checked in as we checked out. After your stay you receive a mail with a thank you for staying in the hotel.Always a pleasure to receive such a mail. The hotel itself has a very good situation. A 5 min walk and you are on the Königsallee. 10 min. to the Shadow Arkaden and Altstadt. Also a 10 min. walk to the main trainstation. Furthermore 20 meters away from the hotel you have the entrance of a large parking garage. (Exit is in the Charlottenstrasse, go right and then again right in the Grupellostrasse and you arrive after a 2 min walk at the hotel) The metro in the Oststrasse is only 150 meters from the hotel, which brings you directly to the Heinrich Heine Allee (second stop and center of the city); Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. Alltough we were on the corner of the Oststrasse and Grupellostrasse it was very quiet. The breakfast buffet is very good with a large choice (fresh goods) So to discover Düsseldorf I can really advise this hotel.

A very simple concept. Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms with no frills, well-trained, polite, friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast with lots of healthy options (and some less healthy, too). It’s in Little Tokyo so great for restaurants, and right by the main station, with a short walk taking you to the old town. The other guests were all professional-looking business people.
